You are so pathetic LOL. I really do feel sorry for you, I can just picture you over the keyboard pounding away, redfaced, spit spewing....

yes yes well all have that list, however, one thing I do know is you are sad and pathetic with your Trump derangement.

You just don't get it, do you? Nations all over the globe are combining to reroute supply chains, and do new trade deals which isolate America.

Example: China cancelled all orders of soybeans and corn from the USA. It now buys soybeans from Brazil, and corn from Canada.

The derangement is all yours, if you labor under the delusion tariffs are going to save America from decline.

Perhaps Canadians know that tariffs are a tax imposed on the buyer of foreign goods and the Canadian government decided not to punish its citizens.

On the other hand, Trump seems to continue peddling the nonsense that somehow foreigners are paying the tariffs and the MAGA types are stupid enough to believe him.

This isn't Canada caving, it's the Canadian people winning, unlike ordinary Americans who only lose by having this very regressive tariff tax imposed on them so that the very wealthy can enjoy tax breaks.

Have you looked at the cost of goods in canada ? Hardly winning.

Who caused that mess ?

Real men don't cheat. They don't boast about grabbing women by their genitals. They don't disrespect fallen soldiers. They don't dodge military service with fake medical conditions. They don't blame everyone else for when they screw up.

What a diseased and twisted mind you must have, to be posting as you do.

Sean Connery cheated all the time.

Elvis Presley cheated all the time.

JFK cheated all the time.

So tough guy election Carney became wet pussycat Carney. Okay.

He promised to inflict "maximum pain" on the US. He tried but it was like a mosquito the US didn't even notice. So he changed his approach.

Well, I guess Canadians lack backbone.

Still waiting for Faux News to tell their moron viewers that if Canada were to become the 51st state it would be deep deep blue, with a voting population the size of California.  That's probably another 52 congressional seats that will almost all swing Democrat.  Not that Canada will ever become a 51st state, but this would be a great way for Dems to troll the right and watch their heads explode when this simple math is pointed out to them.

And no, it would not be a territory like Guam or whatever.  According to the convicted felon rotting pumpkin idol himself, it would be a full fledged state.

Im sure all of Canada is united. Bet we can make Alberta and Quebec offers they cant refuse.

.....and besides that, Canadians actually understand how tariffs work and who forks over the cash ....

Which is why Carney caved in, exactly like I and other based forum users said would happen. Getting basic fact through liberal skulls is not an enjoyable task.

Though a lot of MAGA devotees would never admit the truth, the reality is quite the opposite. Carney has been striking deals with nations all over the world and setting itself up for substantially less dependence on the US, while the US is losing access to the highest quality lumber on the planet, very convenient oil and natural gas, and a wealth of precious metals and rare earth materials.

Recall that one half of President Biden’s economic program was a targeted plan to greatly boost the manufacturing sector in advanced technology and critical industries. The Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS Act, and the bipartisan infrastructure law set up an immense subsidy scheme for both production and purchase of high-tech goods like solar panels, wind turbines, EVs, batteries, and semiconductors

Moreover, the way Trump is doing tariffs is utterly at odds with the needs of manufacturers. Biden’s program did include some tariffs, some of which he borrowed from Trump’s first term, but they were set up in a rational and predictable manner aligned with clear goals and paired with investments in domestic industry.

Chinese EVs, for instance, got a huge and increasing duty because Biden wanted to protect U.S. automakers from their arguably unfair competition. That gave Ford and GM the confidence that they could invest in EV facilities (and take advantage of IRA tax credits) without the rug being yanked out from under them.

Trump’s tariffs, by contrast, are being imposed in a wildly erratic manner, dialed up and down on a practically daily basis via posts on Truth Social. They also don’t have any clear economic goal. Why steel and aluminum? What quantity of these items is Trump aiming to produce? Why champagne, which cannot be produced in the U.S.? He doesn’t say, because he doesn’t know anything.

Most American manufactured goods are sold to Americans, and if there is a recession, purchases will fall. That is doubly true for expensive, durable items where a purchase can usually be put off, like cars, washing machines, solar panels, or computers.

Trying to rebuild manufacturing while creating a recession on purpose is like trying to do a pole vault after bolting a sandbag to your ankles.

The overall average US tariff rate is at its highest in almost a century, thanks to a range of other industry-specific taxes affecting products such as vehicles and steel.

Instead of giving bosses a reason to hire, the whiplash approach to the trade war is sowing confusion and uncertainty. CEOs need clarity on where tariffs will be in the long run. But under Trump, it’s not even clear where tariffs will be at the end of the day, let alone the end of the year.

“It’s a policy choice to sow this much uncertainty. And that uncertainty has a cost,” said Betsey Stevenson, professor of economics and public policy at the University of Michigan and a former chief economist at the Department of Labor under Obama.

“The tariff mess has utterly stopped sales globally and domestically. Everyone is on pause. Orders have collapsed,” one machinery executive said in a survey released last month conducted by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).

Manufacturing employment has been shrinking for decades in the United States as the economy shifted from factories to services including technology and finance.

About 95% of America’s job growth since the 1950s has been in the service sector, according to Stevenson, the University of Michigan professor. Chris Cocks, the CEO of toy maker Hasbro, told CNN’s Audie Cornish that because of the higher cost of labor, it’s 50% to 60% more expensive to make toys in the United States instead of overseas.

Many factories have struggled to find workers who have the skills and desire to work at manufacturing sites that are often located away from major population centers.

Lawrence worries that Trump’s tariff tactics will end up hurting American factories by simultaneously making it more expensive to manufacture in the United States and by angering overseas customers. “We are setting ourselves up to be a highly uncompetitive country,” he said, “while alienating our allies and pissing off the biggest markets.”

Who thinks this ? The people who believe that men can have babies.

The people who support terrorist organizations.

The same people who go to vote with nose rings & blue hair.

The people who support hardened criminals who believe murderers have rights.
