Thailand Unveils 'Trusted Thailand' Stamp for Safer Tourism

Trusted Thailand" stamp will be awarded to tourism operators who meet rigorous safety criteria. This stems from detailed assessments covering essential areas such as site safety, secure financial dealings, transparency, foreign language proficiency, and visitor care. It's a move that not only promises safety but also a seamless experience for tourists.

Meanwhile they're closing our bank accounts, making it harder for us to get driving licences and you're 20x more likely to die on holiday in Thailand than you are on holiday in western countries.

Another really dumb idea that does nothing to address any of the real issues.

  • How much does the "Trusted Thailand" stamp cost?

  • A stamp is going to make things safer , they should be giving amulets out , especially the one that makes you bulletproof , and everybody will be safe as houses ,except it would not prevent

Awarded by a Thai government agency. Thais trusting Thais.

About as valuable as a 25 satang coin.

You know what really bothers me. It's the fact that Thailand could become a developed country but the people who live here and are wonderful people in general allow all these corrupt politicians and RTP to walk all over them. Stand up to them! Make your country great.

My wife has been in the states for 11 years now and loves it here. she wants to go back when she retires. She knows she's giving up a lot and loves the Seattle winters and hates the heat.

good for her!

Trusted Thailand???

Who is trusted in Thailand?

Does trusted imply no corruption, no scams, no crime, no lies, ... 100% real, true, honest, sincere?

I'd trust that as much as I trust an " 100% organic" label in a Thai shop
