A traffic row at a red light in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, erupted into violence when two teenagers were stabbed, leaving one critically injured.

The incident occurred on 3 September at the Suan Somdet intersection, Ban Mai subdistrict, Pak Kret district. Police and rescue volunteers from Poh Teck Tung Foundation and Bua Phet Foundation rushed to the scene, where they found a 17-year-old male with a stab wound to the chestand in critical condition, and a 16-year-old male with a stab wound to his right arm. Both victims were given first aid before being transferred to hospital.

According to the 16-year-old, he and his friend were riding together to buy food when they stopped at the red light. Two other teenagers on a motorbike were blocking the lane. When asked to move, the pair refused, reversed their bike to obstruct further and became aggressive. Following a brief exchange of words, they allegedly pulled out knives and stabbed the victims before fleeing.

The victim stated that he did not know the attackers and had never had previous disputes with them, adding that he could clearly identify them since neither was wearing a helmet.

Pak Kret police have already reviewed CCTV footage from the escape route and confirmed they have identified the suspects. Officers are now working to track them down and bring them to justice.
