It does not. Stay away from wheat. Wheat has been manipulated for ever and is hard for the body to handle!!

but maybe the "germ" part is ok ??

it does have a lot of stuff in it ... but could be anti nutrients as well.

thanks. i'll research it a bit more.

OP is asking about wheat 'germ', not wheat.  Wheat isn't evil either, depending of level of processing, but better choices for nutritional value may exist,  without the complex carb / sugar factor, if that is an issue for you.  Big fan of Whole Wheat Bread myself, and make my own.

Wheat germ is a different story all together, as Ms Google points out ...

(due diligence on your own research suggested, for your body & nutritional needs)

Initially, I also just asked about the nutrient profile and it does seem impressive.

But now just asked about GMO and gluten and anti nutrients and Doctor AI had this to say:

Gluten is not good for anyone, even if you're not celiac.

Wheat germ availability (TH) ...

https://www.priceza.com/s/ราคา/wheat-germ

iHerb is having a 29% sitewide sale with different promo codes, with free shipping w/1400+ THB orders, though duty & tax is unavoidable.   Just ordered a bunch of things, cheaper even with the duty & taxes added, than ordering same locally, TH.

Using this link would be appreciated (I get 5% of something ?), if not already a member ...

Must explain why delivery is slow this week.

I usually place orders on Mondays and receive shipment Thursday or Friday of the same week.

This is the first week the order hasn't come in.

Yeah, I am starting to compare prices. I compared the price of Creatine. The local Thai brand of Creatine is about the same price as a western brand of creatine on iHerb. I'm guessing the western brand is better quality / safer.

We placed 3 orders (iHerb), and all have ~2 week estimate delivery time.  I only use NOW foods supplements, as excellent 3rd party reviews of.   Was KirkLand fan, but they've been slipping in the 'have in' research department.  Still OK, just NOW better.

There's a NOW 'authorized' dealer on Shopee, that I ordered from.  Pricing OK, but with discount, hard to beat.   Plus I want to compare the packaging, (side by side) see if Shopee's is authentic.  Seem to be as I notice with the Magnesium, when taking.

Also ordered Creatine, along with CoQ10 & Magnesium.   Think I'm stocked up for about a year, or more.  Expiration dates were 2029/30.

LAZ delivery has been excellent the past few orders.  We're not exactly near distribution / transfer depots, 100 kms south of Hua Hin.

@save the frogs first order just arriver .. impressive.

Notice tracking from Korea, where NOW foods does have distribution center.  Which means, only VAT 7% is charge for duties & Tax, though iHerb collect 2X that amount when ordered.

My order just came in yesterday too. Woo hoo! Fun fun fun ...

Not sure what you mean. I thought iHerb had a distribution center in South Korea.

I don't even pay much attention to the extra charges because I have no choice. They can charge what they need to charge. I wouldn't know where else to order. Lazada has fake supplements and they don't have anywhere near the same inventory.

Yes, they do, S Korea & HK.   Did compare the packaging of the Magnesium, with same from Shopee and appears authentic, but still cheaper via iHerb w/duties added & discounts.

Can't live without my bread & pizza.   Cut way back on pastries, pies & cakes, and try to stick with Cheesecake, homemade with minimal flour & sugar.

Keep my Glucose <5.5, and was 5.3 last time checked (May 2025).

Lol! I admit I do have one "cheat day" where I do sometimes make a pizza and eat chocolate kake!! Every saturday is like a mini "Christmas"!! Other than that, at 73, slim and in better shape than ever. I do not eat veggies and only occasionally have fruit, not the very sweet ones. Thats more like a "dessert". I have been a veggie hater all my life so its not some new "diet". Its not needed or essential for a healthy diet and is only brainwashing from the food industry. Study and learn! 😂

So you're on the carnivore diet?

I was on it a while back and stopped.

But it's definitely easier to stay slim eating only meat.

And I agree that wheat is problematic and should be avoided.

Lets say its a very low carb diet. 90 percent animal food with VERY little carbs. I just cannot be without some homemade Indian curry with a handful of rice sometime!!😄 I might have had a little broccili, but all those "better tasting veggies" are from China!! I would never even given my dog anything from that place!! 😆 We agree on wheat....and so do all those who study the matter. I stay away from grains most of the time, but a small piece of sourdough (real one, not the thing they sell in the shops) made from Einkorn or emmer on my "cheat days" is OK! 😂.
