Thaksin Shinawatra, the ex-Thai Prime Minister, has returned to Bangkok today after a stopover in Singapore. HI flew out of Dubai and landed at Don Mueang Airport in the afternoon. Thaksin is set to hear the court's decision regarding his 14-day medical leave case on 9th September.

Early in the morning, Flightradar24 tracked a Bombardier Global 7500 jet, matching Thaksin’s private aircraft, departing from Al Maktoum International Airport, UAE. The jet was en route to Singapore around 20:45 local time. Reports suggested he would then head back to Thailand by 17:00 today.

By 13:00, the jet signalled its departure from Seletar Airport, Singapore, and was bound for Thailand. At 14:54, the aeroplane touched down smoothly at Don Mueang Airport.

Shortly after, at 15:05, Thaksin's personal car, a Mercedes-Maybach with Bangkok registration, whisked him away. Although media personnel at the scene attempted to catch a word, Thaksin remained out of sight, keeping the vehicle's windows rolled up.

This high-profile return has captured both public and media attention, especially ahead of the impending court session. The Supreme Court will review Thaksin's medical leave case just one day after his arrival, according to Amarin TV.

Those developments mark a significant moment, as Thaksin has been out of the country for an extended period. He remains a polarising figure in Thai politics, and the forthcoming court decision could have substantial implications for his status and future movements.

The court's verdict, which could either open a new chapter for Thaksin or lead to further legal proceedings, is the focus of keen attention among servers. The case's outcome might also impact the broader political landscape in Thailand.

With the jet now parked at Don Mueang and Thaksin having returned to Thai soil, all eyes will shift to the courtroom on 9th September. The decision reached there could resonate across the country, further influencing discussions and actions taken by political factions.

So did anyone actually see him? The plane touched down and 9 minutes later his car leaves the airport 'with him'?

No, because you were too busy making up some fairytale conspiration theory.

even he is found guilty there is still time to escape as there will be an appeal  and out on bail

Typical of the wily old fox, he jumped out to improve his negotiation position - deal done, the details to be seen soon.....

I'm wondering if his private jet remains parked at the airport, fueled up and ready to go if required.

The ",come back" man will win anyway and hopefully pave Thailand's future. (If People's Party can't)

Ok Tony we guarantee you won’t go to prison. But don’t forget it’s my wife’s birthday. Tony: ok then I’ll come back.
