Sorry to say, but people take drugs, and they always have and will. Embrace all drugs. Get control. Get tax revenue. Provide quality products that don't kill, when used correctly. Put the bad guys out of business. Your right in many ways but what a work force the world would have, once the government gets its greedy hands on drug money they will have a field day and poverty will increase, just what they want. The CIA has been peddling drugs for years to fund terrorists. Every shop in Thailand would be converted into a drug stall. The CIA wont give this up. Thailand has been growing good dope for years, it found its way around the world, anyone who wanted to smoke always had supply, or grew skunk under the house. Now its a huge money pool for the rich to swim in, they wont give it up easily. When NZ opened up to the chinese, the govt said that the Hong Kong police would not let the Mafia into NZ, Ha ha ha, they now are teemed up with bike gangs and NZ has a huge Meth/Ice problem and its flowing in unstoppable. Since they legalized dope in Thailand the Chinese have poured into Phuket and Pattaya and probably teamed up with the Russians and now the meth problem is growing fast in LOS.

And your right in many ways. But I would not worry about the state of the global workforce. AI and there robots are just round the corner. and there will be very few jobs , for the workforce. I also think you would see a big reduction of people in jail on drug charges. , win. win. Right, large Leo time and reruns of star trek Picard.

I think the weed is below average here, especially compared to what was available in California before Covid. I get the impression many of the Thai growers prioritize Cannabis strains with high resiliency and production over a good smoke. Also, from the little local weedshops in my area of Bangkok a good part of the weed seems to come from Malaysia or Laos.

Maybe, once in a dog's age, I will be sitting outside and catch a whiff ... in the distance, if the wind is propitious. Maybe once every few months, or so. This is all I know. And, none of my friends puff the magic dragon, either. You should stop now. You're just embarrassing yourself.
September 10, 20251 yr There's no doubt THC and CBD can control certain types of epilepsy and can reduce inflammation and joint pain as well as deal pain caused by cancer. Medical science has made little progress on this though due to the US federal ban and bans in most Western countries. Not re-criminalising it in Thailand will help refine those uses for Thais.
