Ubc And Phillips Pixel Plus And Ambi Light

Featured Replies

Guys

Sorry if you read similar on another thread of mine..but I should have posted a new topic. I picked 'this problem' up on another thread.

Today we went looking, yes all the shops admitted, after we promped them, that UBC and LCD is a bit iffee. HOWEVER we looked at Philips LCDs. They have pixel plus and better still ambi light. The demo I saw, using a normal TV signal, was quite impressive. the 42inch ambi light is coming out at 76000 baht at present, on offer in Ngam Wong Wan Mall so they say!

Any views on this please, anyone bought one.

Ambi light just light up some bulbs around teh back of the TV, Pixelplus is just processing the signal, neither enhance pictire quality in my broad experience.

Thanks

The guy plugged in a normal TV lead and then split the screen, somehow, showed me the normal picture and the enhanced side by side..a big difference. Was I conned? I don't know..thanks anyway

I have a Pixel Plus CRT TV at home and the picture quality is equally as good (if not better) than my 46" Samsung LCD. It took a while to get used to it, its hard to explain but it looks brilliant, extremely clear and sharp picture.
