On my last deployment to A-stan some of these girth challenged soldiers has it tough even though we traveled either by armed vehicles or helicopters. Even then some of them looked like they were going to have a cardiac event. Iraq and Kuwait were even more challenging. During the height of both Iraq and A-stan the formerly named Department of Defense had a desperate need for any warm body with a pulse.
