Israel offered to allow the boats to dock a few kilometers from Gaza and Israel would transport all the aid to Gaza .

   The flotilla rejected that offer .

Israel would allow the aid from the flotilla in after it going through security checks

Israel controls the Gaza Strip, as well as its territorial waters and airspace. Egypt controls Gaza Strip's southern border and neither Israel or Egypt permits free travel from Gaza. 

 

The world evolves.  What date in history should we determine as the point where sovereignty can't be altered?  Many of the members on this forum come from nations that include segments of the population that are similar to Palestinians.  Should they allow these segments of the population to create their own sovereign state?

 

Complicated issue and maybe I'm oversimplifying it...
