Lazada sent me a voucher as a refund, but the voucher doesn't work. 

After a lot of complaints they refuse to honor the voucher,  instead, they now  offer me LazRewards.

 

A friend, who is a heavy user of Lazada, told me

- only some sellers accept LazRewards

- only on certain days, and not for every item

- you can only use a very small amount per item bought, about 20 baht (the refund is almost 600B)

 

Lazada, however, told me on the phone:

- my LazReward wil be different,  I can always use it, any time, any item, any seller

They wrote to me

4. There is **no usage limit** — you may use your full balance toward purchases and discounts, up to reducing the item price to **0 THB*

(emphasis from Lazada)

I don't trust them,  I think they just want to keep the money. 

So, does anybody have experience with LazRewards?

I often earn Lazrewards (small amounts) by writing reviews about purchases I have made. Never had a problem using them. If you have LR, the next time you make a purchase there should be an option at checkout to use your rewards to reduce the purchase price of the item. I would be happy to accept the rewards they have offered as a refund. I'm not aware of any usage restrictions when using LR. AFAIK the sellers don't have any say as to whether they will accept LR or not and they can be used on any purchase at any day/time.

Lazada is the worst. I had a seller list the wrong product information. After I paid they sent me a message and asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I said I did. The seller\ Lazada issued a credit to lazada wallet which I don't have. Every time I try to access the wallet it wants to download the wallet app but it fails as it only tries to download to an old phone I no longer have. Lazada just goes in circles about help.

Every single item I bought on Lazada, when the brand was important,  it was fake.

Correction: once, the seller just sent a different product,  and (as an apology ?) added a free accessory. 

The official stores/LazMall invariably don't have what I want.

 

I never returned anything,  this is the first time.

A waste of time.

I am definitely done with Lazada.

 

If I calculate my time with an average hourly rate paid in Bangkok (not the legal minimum wage), starting with the time wasted searching on their terrible App, Lazada is extremely expensive. 

Only one experience of them but here it is for what it's worth.

 

I was given some LazRewards as compensation for a late delivery IIRC.  Had a bit trouble locating them on the app/website (probably down to it being my first time) but when I went to use them there was no problem and they credited against my purchase without issue.  I didn't come across any restrictions or limitations, but as I said, only one data point.

Of course,  the Lazrewards didn't work when I tried to use them. I was not surprised. 

I then tried to use them on a different device (same Lazada app version), not the device I always use to order stuff.

It worked,  no problem. All good.
