Where Can I Swim Laps Near Kamala/patong?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a place where it's possible to swim laps (25m or 50m). Something like a public pool, but with a designated swimming area.

Swimming at the beach is quite troublesome due to waves, jetski's and so on :o

Also, if you have suggestions for semi-extreme sports like climbing, rapelling (sp?) and so on, it would be much appreciated.

May be a little further than you want to go but in CheurngTalay, entry road to Laguna there is a municipal swimming pool (25m x 5 or 6 lanes). 40 THB per visit or 100THB memebership for the year and then only 20THB per visit.

alternativly scope out some seimming pools at hotels find one that you like and see if you can pay for a memership to the hotell for pool/gym use. a bunch, but not all, hotells will offer this service.

There is quite a large public swim pool at bann Benjamas in Patong. Top of Bangla Road, cross over into Soi Sansabai, and left into Baan Benjamas complex.
