I should imagine that some very firm albeit informal and unwritten "protocols" are in place.

Leftist generals that are willing to circumvent the Constitution?

No, recruiting is not "way up",  The US military had paused enlistment targets for 2 years, even reducing them. Now that it is able to take in more recruits it is picking up the backlog of people who deferred their enlistment  because there was no space for them.  You can draw your conclusions in another year.  Despite the recent recruitment gains, the overall size of the military workforce is down 38%+ from 1980.

The US military changed its recruitment criteria over the past decade to be able to induct more applicants. A cynic might say, standards were reduced. Others will say, that the parameters were adjusted to better reflect the military's needs. The reality is that the number of people applying to join the military has been decreasing for the past 40 years.   The Biden administration started the military pay increases 3 years ago. Military pay has increased by 4.5% or more for three consecutive years. Trump is claiming credit for changes initiated several years ago.

Did you know that the DOD reports that 77% of young adults in the US are unqualified to serve without a waiver.

The three most-common factors for disqualification are obesity, educational deficits, and criminal or drug abuse records. Young adults also report low interest in serving. In a 2024 survey, 87% of people aged 16–21 said they were either “probably not” or “definitely not” considering enlistment

Careful now you're providing facts and thats gonna confuse those folks with the blinders on.

I love the term team red. I just added it to my profile. We should all have it.

And I think it a good bet that all the know-nothings disparaging Hegseth would likely not make a pimple on his a** physically or intellectually.

Purges of this nature inevitably scream 'weak leader.'...........but in this case I'd go with very weak leader, well out of his depth.

Well I doubt any of them could beat him in push ups.

"A new broom sweeps clean."

The left seems to think the military should be treated as civil servants, with jobs for life and zero accountability.

Tell me why/how Hegseth is incompetent.

For one thing it is bad policy to have so many top brass in one place at one time.

Thats a settled question right? Clear and settled. Care to cite the Supreme Court case and the language therein?

If your side wins the Administration, your side can make the rules.

Obviously you are uninformed/uneducated on the case because it is clearly NOT settled, and you are blindly following your cult master.

ACLU Deals Legal Blow to Trump

By John Baker,

The Trump administration has petitioned the Supreme Court to review its executive order restricting birthright citizenship, a move that has been met with strong opposition from civil rights advocates. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a class-action lawsuit claiming the policy unlawfully denies citizenship rights under the 14th Amendment. The executive order limits birthright citizenship to children of U.S. citizens or lawful residents, challenging the 1898 Wong Kim Ark ruling that guaranteed citizenship to nearly all born on U.S. soil.

So its not settled. So Trumps interpretaion may be correct. So how did he violate the constituion if its not settled LOL.

Your ignorance is showing again LOL. Tell us how Wong Kim Ark settles the issue.

Got it. So Trump may be legally correcgt, at at a minimum, since the issue is not settled, he didnt violate anyhting. Are you saying the interpretation of the administration is legally untenable.

No one is saying that it is. You are the ones complaining that he "violated" the constituion.

I'm just responding to your statement it was a settled question.

I've never mentioned Trump being right or wrong in this context.
