January 19, 200818 yr great win for the Dale at Chesterfield MrBJ....A mate in Chesterfield said there's some serious money now behind the scenes at Saltergate so get my money on them for promotion ???
January 19, 200818 yr Author great win for the Dale at Chesterfield MrBJ....A mate in Chesterfield said there's some serious money now behind the scenes at Saltergate so get my money on them for promotion ??? Yeah, i didn't post it either. Slipping up eh. Got Bradford at home today, if points go our way, we just might break into the play off's for the first time this season. From the Beeb:- Chesterfield 3-4 Rochdale David Perkins' hat-trick kept up Rochdale's remarkable away record after a dramatic victory at Saltergate. Perkins struck twice before the break but Chesterfield replied through Aaron Downes and Jack Lester after half-time. A longe-range shot from Perkins and a breakaway Glenn Murray goal restored Dale's two-goal lead late on. And though Adam Rooney pulled one back in stoppage time and Downes then had a header cleared off the line in the final seconds, the visitors held on.
January 20, 200818 yr Author If the pitch isn't frozen, it's too wet Rochdale P-P Bradford Rochdale and Bradford's League Two match has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch. The decision was made early on Saturday morning after a pitch inspection by referee Nigel Miller at Spotland following heavy rain. He declared the pitch unplayable with so much surface water on the playing area. With more rain forecast throughout the day, he was left with little option other than to call the game off.

January 21, 200818 yr Scoring two own goals doesn't do your chances of coming away with 3 points....well done Perch & Brekin
January 21, 200818 yr Scoring two own goals doesn't do your chances of coming away with 3 points....well done Perch & Brekin Not the cleverest of results Chavy. Hope this is not going to be the start of the annual melt down. At least lost there Yorkshire Derby.

I'm worried about that as well mate...last years memories are still in the forefront of the brain box Seeing Leeds & Derby losing was the only saving grace
January 24, 200818 yr Here we go again, Millwall struggling around the relegation zone but 2-0 up with 5 mins to go ok, managed to claw it back to 2-2 but it just shouldn't be like this. The championship must be quacking in their boots

January 26, 200818 yr Author A tough game for the Mighty Dale today. We beat them at Spotland earlier in the season but it'll be different at their gaff. MK Dons v The Mighty Dale Milton Keynes are boosted by the return to fitness of forwards Aaron Wilbraham and Kevin Gallen (groin). The only injury concern for the Dons remains defender Danny Swailes who is struggling with a groin problem. Rochdale have Sheffield United's Martin Donnelly on loan for the rest of the season and he could make his debut. Lee Crooks may return from illness but striker Chris Dagnall in unavailable, though gradually returning to fitness following damaged knee ligaments.
January 26, 200818 yr Author And it doesn't make it any easier when we sell one of our best players. From the BBC:- Brighton splash out to bag Murray Brighton and Hove Albion have made 24-year-old Rochdale striker Glenn Murray their most expensive signing for 25 years. The former Carlisle forward, who has scored six goals in his last seven games, has signed for £300,000 in a three-and-a-half-year deal. "He's over six foot tall, a typical centre forward. He's a vital addition," said Albion boss Dean Wilkins. "This underlines our promotion ambitions," Chairman Dick Knight added.

January 27, 200818 yr Author Get in there MK Dons 0-1 The Mighty Dale Gary Jones grabbed the only goal as 10-man Rochdale beat League Two leaders Milton Keynes Dons. Rochdale's Nathan Stanton was sent off after he was booked twice - the second for disputing a penalty decision after just 13 minutes. But Keith Andrews missed the subsequent penalty and Paul Ince's side could not make their numerical advantage count. Victory was sealed when Drissa Diallo squared for the onrushing Jones to tap in from 10 yards.

The streak goes on Just think, Mr BoJ if you had 5000baht on at the beginning of the streak on the Asian Line, and just kept rolling it into the next game, your balance right now would be about 40 Million Baht

January 28, 200818 yr Author The Dale are going up!!! Oh, it would be fantastic if they did Toady. Most Dale fans would settle for the play off's though. (Where's that "praying" smiley)
January 28, 200818 yr Author I hope they don't suffer from vertigo!!! My advice....don't look down They don't know how to look down, they've always had to be looking up, at those above them. But i believe the manager has issued smelling salts just in case.
