Funny thing about oil, especially Iraqi oil.  All proceeds from oil sales go directly into a special account at the Federal Reserve in New York.

Iraq must petition the USA for permission to access funds from their oil sales.  Cash is delivered monthly on pallets.

No obey, no funds.

And people get excited about European colonial economic practices!

Even wonder why the Iraqi parliament can "demand" US troops leave but nothing ever comes of it?

US is blowing up Ven ships to cut supply. Ven should be able to blow up known drug usage hot spots to cut demand. Stock exchanges, trendy resorts, rock concerts, etc

More likely blowing up civilian boats to get a reaction from the Venezuelan military in order to "justify" another regime change.

Nothing beats "unprovoked aggression" to stir up the base.

Delta and Seal teams are probably watching Maduro's daily movements..........😉

Ahhh the old "we are chasing the oil".  They said that about Bush and Iraq.  Is it just possible he is doing it because 100,000 Americans die every year from drug overdose?  And just maybe it could be impacted closer to the source?  I dunno.  Maybe he really does care about those 100,000 families losing a loved one.

Or do people with drug addictions not matter?

exactly /..   The U.S. does not their oil ,,      they need to stop any and all drugs coming ino the U.S,

as President Trump siad when asked why not have congress to issue a  declaration of war on the cartels

basically .. we don't need one .  we'll going to  kill them ! You Know, the're going to be like dead !    The ultimate FAFO !

No.

That was decided before he was elected which goes to show the lack of credibility of that organization.

Ah, that's why trump wants it. Because it lacks credibility.

Should be some interesting port visits for the sailors.

I worked in Caracas for a few weeks, some time ago. Quite a dangerous place to be, many guys walking around with handguns in their belts. The hotel I stayed in had a bullet hole in the window.

However  the women there are something else, in the office they all wear mini skirts, mostly blond/ light hair, pretty, buxom etc

Only problem is I can't speak Spanish, but I learned some very quickly!😅

I waas once offered an assignment there but after reading the post report, I saw that 2 of every 3 persons coming there were assalted, so I decided that I sure didn't want my family to be affected like that as it was just too dangerous so I went to Europe instead.

Terrorist , Drug  lords, far left extremists agitators and a guy who heads it all that happens to have a bounty(Biden & Trump Admin imposed) of $50M. Its possible the informants who want to claim the bounty & the USA have come to terms.  The carrier could implement security measures ,blockades, & CIA opps, all with the possibility of collecting Maduro live,

A significant move. It will not be only the carrier moving to the Carribean but the entire task force assigned to protect it.

With Russian Oil about to disappear with sanctions & Ukraine's attack on refineries it's important to make sure supply is maintained and price is kept down.

Venezuela has the world's biggest reserves of oil & it's nice and close to USA esp in the event of War ..... Logical and True.

Expecting a false flag operation like

Operation Himmler to invade Venezuela followed by Colombia. Got to get something to pay for all the resources poured into the Caribbean and distract from all domestic issues,

The US doesn't need to steal anyones oil, we have plenty. You do too much guessing.

Yes.

I am unable to give an opinion on that question because I am not Venezuelan.

However despite the persistent efforts to unseat Maduro he has in fact not done worse for the Venezuelans than Chavez  before him.

What has impacted the citizens are the  increased sanctions applied after the failed coup by US backed Guaido leading to an exodus of people escaping economic stricture.

The  claims to justify warships sinking small boats is due to the threat to the US from drugs it seems ignored that cocaine is not fentanyl.

But oil reserves are oil reserves !

A bit risky I would say: lots of islands in the Carribean, they have to be sailed around, that means lots of "cornering" and airplanes on US carriers have a tendency to fall off when cornering!

Talk about overkill - drug smugglers in speedboats are quite effectively dealt with by small helicopters flying from the back of small fast ships, but no - the warriors use the biggest bombers and the biggest ships on the planet. It is a bit.like deploying the (now gone) Vulcan bombers to counter Romany pickpockets in London's West End!

Unless of course the aim is bigger...

No doubt this is the old Porsche syndrome, Trump is desperately trying to prove that he's a big, tough, strongman and most of us see through that, and see him as being a traitor, disloyal to his nation on so many different levels and the exact opposite of a patriot.

Let's keep something clear: we are not talking about a compassionate man.  He has resigned his life to be a reality TV character: compassion is not part of it.

He wants personal glory and, of course, $$$.  Whenever he does something it is entirely appropriate to try to discern what is his expected outcome/return.

Live with it.

One doesn't have to be compassionate to care about ones country.  And your opinion of his personality might be colored by your political bias and choices of media.  So, who knows?  Maybe he has friends whose kids got caught up in drugs and died of fentanyl.  No clue.

But it's as likely as the wild concept we are after their oil.  The USA has LOTS of oil.  We do not need to invade other nations to provide for all the US energy needs.

Interesting.  I worked with a man fro Venezuela.  He rose to a high position and still runs an investment firm managing millions.  Before the changes he used to invite us all down to Venezuela.  Marvelous nation.  Since Maduro he was warned everyone do not visit.  I don't think he visits now.  I believe the obvious nature of Venezuela has changed drastically and no longer runs valid elections.  In short it is a dictatorship.  So yes, I'd say they would be better off if they could throw off the chains.  Like Iran.  A wonderful nation until the insane mullahs took control.

The next RED sweep is affecting you too.

What was yours?

With the “FORD” on banana station I’m curious if the narco terrorist of Venezuela will continue to conscript volunteers for the drug boats.

Surely, no one in their right mind would freely sign their death warrant by volunteering.

Regardless,  they make good target practice.

As a matter of ritual when it pulls into port the captain hits a golf ball aimed at the harbormaster's head.  :clap2:
