Honestly speaking, of all the organisms that are able to fly, I would say that bats and Thai myna birds are among my favorite creatures created by God.

 

Anytime I hear either one, I feel comforted.

 

One must understand bats to truly appreciate them.

 

Someday, I might record their vocalizations, then use my computer to slow-down their frequencies, just to better understand them, same as other researchers do with the whales, particularly the white whales of Toronto, Canada.

The name comes from the belief that a victim will die after taking only five steps (or a hundred paces) due to the potent venom. 

 

This is the dreaded CHINESE MOCCASIN.....

 

 

Five steps, and one falls over dead.
