Police are investigating the death of a Thai woman whose body was found on Laem Kum Beach in Thap Sakae district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, on November 17. Officers were alerted at around 12.30 after reports that a body had been discovered approximately 500 metres from Rocky Point Resort. The discovery has prompted a detailed inquiry as authorities work to determine whether the death was accidental, self-inflicted or linked to foul play.

When police arrived, they found a woman believed to be between 40 and 50 years old with her bra lifted and her trousers pulled down to her shins, though officers noted no visible injuries or signs of physical assault. Her body was transferred to Thap Sakae Hospital for an autopsy aimed at establishing the cause of death. Police also inspected the area for evidence and gathered initial witness accounts.

Investigators later identified the woman as 42-year-old Thitiyakorn Klaikaew, a local bank manager. According to police, she had recently taken leave from work, explaining that she planned to visit Phra Mongkut Klao Hospital in Bangkok for follow-up treatment for depression and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). She reportedly attended the appointment before returning home to Sam Roi Yod district.

On the morning of November 17, Thitiyakorn left her home before being found deceased on Laem Kum Beach. CCTV footage from the area showed her arriving in a white Honda City car and parking on an empty plot of land located approximately three kilometres from where her body was discovered. The footage formed a key part of the investigation as police traced her movements prior to the incident.

Officers later found her bag about one kilometre from the parked car. Inside were several personal documents, including a marriage certificate, which police collected as evidence. Authorities stated that the man named on the certificate will be summoned for questioning as part of routine investigative procedures.

At this stage, police have not confirmed whether the death was a suicide or the result of foul play. Investigators plan to review further security camera footage and continue gathering witness statements. The case remains open as authorities work to piece together the final hours leading up to Thitiyakorn’s death.

Yes, condolences to er friends and family.

It seems likely to be suicide judging by the persons erratic behaviour, It's possible that someone earlier found the body and disturbed her clothing for a perve. Very sad.

Yes maybe, but I'd think more likely to be rape/murder by an evil person.  The perv idea would probably be a sick individual.
