Some old weak boomer got mad at me in a bar because his girl came over to me instead. He punched me in the jaw and it was such a weak punch that I honestly felt bad for the old man. I'm pretty sure if I punched him back it would've killed him.

You, quite correctly, took pity on his frailty and decrepitude, thereby saving him from losing all of the rest of his money paying for hospital bills.
