Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetsky will be deported from the Philippines after serving his sentence related to stunts performed at Bonifacio Global City last year. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced this on January 15. Zdorovetsky’s deportation process is set to begin, requiring clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and relevant courts.

The DILG Secretary, Jonvic Remulla, explained that although Zdorovetsky is a U.S. resident with a green card, his deportation will proceed through Russia, as he holds a Russian passport. The process includes a flight itinerary that starts in Kalibo, Aklan, then goes to Manila, and finally to Moscow, Russia. Remulla mentioned the deportation process is expected to conclude within a week.

Despite the situation, the DILG reassured that tourists and visitors are always welcome in the Philippines. Remulla emphasized the importance of visitors adhering to local laws, just as Filipinos do when traveling abroad. He expressed no negative sentiments towards Zdorovetsky, recognizing the vlogger's remorse and willingness to abide by the legal process.

Looking forward, Remulla stated that Zdorovetsky is now free to return to Russia after serving his time. This marks the end of a highly publicized case that has drawn attention to the consequences of disruptive behavior by foreign visitors. The deportation procedure underscores the Philippine government's commitment to rule enforcement while maintaining a respectful stance towards international visitors, reported Manila Bulletin.

I'm sure that nice Mr Putin will have a job waiting for him when he gets to Moscow. He looks fit enough.
