Donald Trump just saved Mette Frederiksen from electoral oblivion

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has one person to thank for rescuing her from a looming political abyss: U.S. President Donald Trump.

Frederiksen’s party has seen a dramatic surge in poll ratings through January — just months after awful results in last year’s local elections — as it launched a vehement defense of Denmark’s sovereignty against Trump’s aggressive threats to annex Greenland.

“After a long time, they have finally drawn a clear line instead of appearing submissive,” said Per Clausen, a left-wing Danish MEP from the opposition Enhedslisten party, who credited the change in approach with driving a leap in voter support.

The paradox of this whole mess is that Denmark has always been one of the most pro-US members of the EU! 😅

A Danish soldier who fought alongside American troops in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq marched in subzero temperatures through the streets of Copenhagen on Saturday, driven by outrage against President Trump.

The soldier, Lance Cpl. Soren Teigen, was at the front of a group of veterans who had been bused in from all corners of Denmark for the latest demonstration of anti-American anger, after Mr. Trump’s recent comments belittling the support that NATO allies had given the United States in recent wars.

“I don’t blame American soldiers in any way — we’ve fought side by side, and we still do,” Lance Corporal Teigen said. “But when the president says something like this, of course it hurts.”

I don't think anyone has said he is irrelevant since he became president again. A danger to world peace and the economy, yes; but irrelevant, absolutely not. I dare your to find quotes from anyone saying that.

There was literally a thread since he was re-elected with the title "Is Trump now irrelevant" or similar where the forum woke were unanimous(they dont call it a hivemind for nothing) that indeed he was.

Sadly the search function is useless and I have no intention wasting time scrolling back to find.
