Vichyssoise vs Cold Potato-Soup: Which is better 4 Farang in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

Now that I have my new refrigerator, I am wondering:

Which might be better for eating in Thailand, either Vichyssoise or Plain-Potato Soup.

Also, which might be easier to prepare, on a budget?

I do not care about "low-fat".

By the way, my new fridge keeps soups very cool, down to about 0.3-degrees C.

What are your favorite recipes for both Vichyssoise and for Potato Soup.

I have a blender and a few microwave ovens.

These appliances should be enough,...right?

Here in Thailand, anything cold is very welcome.

And, probably, the climate here is the main reason Chinese Hot-Pot is seldom seen.

Sometimes, when the outdoor air temps go above 40, one feels lethargic.

Nobody feels like eating, much.

However; Even though we might not be especially hungry, due to the weather...

Surely we still must eat, even with a reduced appetite

And now, like an old soldier...

I will slowly fade away.

Best regards,

Gamma

Neither sound good but pressed to make a choice it would be potato and leak soup over plain potato soup, must be served hot though.
