Helicopter Crash in Pililla Rizal Leaves Two Dead, Three Injured

A civilian helicopter crash in Barangay Quisao, Pililla, Rizal, claimed two lives and injured three others on Tuesday, March 3. The aircraft, carrying five passengers including two foreign nationals, crashed around 7:20 a.m. in a grass field. First responders reached the site at approximately 7:40 a.m.

The crash resulted in one passenger being declared dead at the scene, while another succumbed to injuries upon arrival at the hospital. Of the three injured, one remains in critical condition; the others sustained minor injuries and have been stabilized. The injured were taken to Rizal Provincial Hospital in Morong for medical care.

Mayor John Masinsin disclosed details of the accident, while Rizal Police Provincial Director Col. Eleazer Barber Jr. announced an ongoing investigation. Barber emphasized coordination with relevant agencies to uncover the cause of the crash and enhance public safety measures. A full report will be released following the completion of the investigation, reported Manila Bulletin.
