Are Ashkenazi Jews about to flee Israel, en masse?

You are confusing lines of demarcation with internationally recognized borders.

"The Green Line, or 1949 Armistice border, is the demarcation line set out in the 1949 Armistice Agreements between the armies of Israel and those of its neighbors (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria) after the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. "

"The Green Line was intended as a demarcation line rather than a permanent border. The 1949 Armistice Agreements were clear (at Arab insistence) that they were not creating permanent borders."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Line_(Israel)

The two internationally recognized permanent borders (Egypt-Israel and Jordan-Israel) were set through bilateral treaties.

Which countries recognize the Green Line as permanent borders?

Considering recent events instigated by Israel, we need to go back to Pre-1945.

The entire world has now lost patience with trying to set up a state of Israel.

The ENTIRE world is no longer in favor of this.

Best to get out NOW, or risk a repeat of the fall of Saigon.

It need not have come to this.

However, it is the Israeli citizens who choose their leaders.

They should look in the mirror before casting more stones.

They DO live in a glass house, after all.

The real question is whether Jews have lost patience with trying to set up the state of Israel as the homeland of the world's Jews.

They haven't.

They haven't.

I say they have.

But this is irrevalent.

They have already over-staid their welcome.

Time to call it a day.

The reality of the situation is that they either get out willngly, or they will be bombed out.

Iran has, or will have, at least about 10 nuclear bombs.

In other words: They have about 500 Kgs. of enriched uranium.

This is enough to produce about 12 nuclear bombs.

As has been suggested elsewhere:

Iran must now

a. Test one nuclear bomb. (on Iranian territory)

b. Then, explode a second nuclear bomb. (also on Iranian territory)

c. After this, just continue raining conventional missiles and drones on Israel, and the population, until the inhabitants leave.

d. If Israel retaliates with one nuke, then give them TWO Nukes in a tit for TAT....

This is the only way with those that fail to listen to reason, and who are being led by leaders from out of the Dark Ages.

And what?

They believe that God will protect them?

The answer is no.

Some as always of course.

It's offensive to make this an Ashkenazi thing as well.

Ashkenazi Jews are a minority in Israel and a huge portion by now are well mixed.

The vast majority of Israeli Jews were born in Israel.

If they get a passport, it's an Israeli passport.

That is their home.

They are not guests.

Israel isn't going anywhere.

Also they have nukes.

I'm not sure Israel will exist 30 years from now. I think Israel will ultimately lose American support, the writing is on the wall.

I don't think the majority of those in power in Israel are super religious actually. Nationalist and Zionist, yes, of course.

I'm not sure the USA as a United entity will exist in 30 years.

Russia even more so.

So what else is new?

I despise Nationalism.

I despised the Nazi Nationalism leading to WW2.

I despise Racism, especially the type leading to the Ghetto, etc.

And, I despise what is happening in Israel, even more, because THEY, of all People, should know the power of Racism.

You're ignoring history,

As soon as the state of Israel first existed, the entire Arab world went to war with Israel.

Surprisingly, Israel won.

Israel didn't want to be a militaristic state. They were forced to. No choice.

It is not revelant to the main point of our discussion, which is whether or not the UN established the extent of Israel's borders. In an earlier post, you stated (I bolded the text):

I say that is not true. The UN has never established Israel's borders. The text I left out from the quote in no way stated, suggested or implied the UN had done so. It didn't mention the UN at all.

It did say most of the borders disputes had their roots in the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, which of course is true but in no way supports your claim that Israel's borders were well established by the UN.

And again narrowing the discussion to suit your narrative. The quote you omitted indicates the borders were recognised before the 1967 war.

What is your opinion about Palestine Nationlism and their racial attack on Israel in 2023 .

Palestine nationalism could led to WW3

Yes, I know it will, Sir.

However, I do have a better suggestion, in the meanwhile.

What would you say to a FACE-TO-FACE meet-up, just the two of us?

(Assuming that you do not finally decide to decamp to the Philippines.)

Someday, I really do hope that you and I can meet up at Hymie's in Bryn Mawr, and I know you know the place.

We can gorge on delicious delights, delights we have not tasted for decades, relax and have a chat about...

Man's inhumanity to Man.....

I have lost faith, for sure, Man...

Just seeing what is unfolding before our very eyes.

Nobody learns from History, and the world continues to be guided by the GUT.

There is NOTHING WRONG with the GUT, if one consumes great food, not to mention the great culture, too, at Hymie's, IMHO.

Give me a stiff dill pickle, any-day, Sir, and I will be satisfied, for a day.

Life for me was always far simpler on the Main Line.

(I miss it so.)

If I could return to those days, I would return.

Gladwyne was Paradise, though Pricey.

And, really no need to Make the Desert Bloom, when one is fortunate enough to live in Gladwyne.

And I say that is debatable:

The 1947 UN Partition Plan (Resolution 181) proposed detailed borders, allocating roughly 56% of Palestine to a Jewish state and 42% to an Arab state, with Jerusalem internationalized.

The Jews fully accepted the plan and created Israel.

The Arabs did not accept out of differerent reasons:

  1. Why give away land which was ruled by Muslims for more than a Millenia to create a purely Jewish ethno state?

  2. Why do the Jews, who were by then about 38% of the population because of the immigration forced upon them by the British get 56% of Palestine, while The Arabs, still the majority gets only 42%?

  3. Why was the Balfour Declaration not respected which clearly promised to facilitate a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine and NOT a independent Jewish ethno state, as it paticularly says: "nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities"

  4. Why did the British not fulfill their part of the deal which was an independent Arab state in exchange for the Arabs fighting for them against the Ottomans (as can be seen in the famous movie "Laurence of Arabia".)

This lead to the 1948 Arab-Israeli war which Israel won and before you knew it, they suddenly had 78% of Palestine.

Now it´s more.

And getting more by the day as the illegal settlements go on as we write.

So yes, the borders were not established, only proposed, yet happily accepted by the Jews and later even more happily expanded until today with the settlers stealing land from it´s legal owners and killing them by the Thousands while labeling anyone criticizing it as an anti-Semite (intentionally conflating it with anti-Zionism) in order to silence him and whining why there is so much anti-Semitism in the world, or in other words:

Expecting the world to grant them a lifelong license to kill and steal.

And personally for me the worst part:

Western leaders and governments, ignoring all their international laws to protect humanity, happily bending over and allowing them to do whatever they want while sanctioning judges from international courts and brutally restricting the basic rights of their own people.

That is unbearable.

On a serious note.

Thailand is not a good place for a young guy like you to build his future. There are pretty boys and girls in your home country too.

It's not easy to make money in Thailand and it's extremely difficult to build any kind of serious wealth and a pension.

If I had come here as a young guy, I would be as poor as a church synagogue mouse.

From the River to the Sea Crete Islands, Israel will be free.

But, then, what would they actually DO there?

Just bask in the sun all day?

Lapping up Gin and Tonics?

Not a good plan, IMHO.

That kind of life would get old and boring, PDQ.
