Mace slams Graham for supporting Iran war, labels him Washington’s ‘war machine’

03/25/26 6:23 PM ET -- Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Wednesday railed against Republicans who are pushing escalation of the Iran war and reiterated her lack of support for boots on the ground.

Mace’s Wednesday comments in opposition to the conflict come after a House Armed Services briefing, after which she said the “gap” between the public and private justification for the war is “deeply troubling.”

“The justifications presented to the American public for the war in Iran were not the same military objectives we were briefed on today in the House Armed Services Committee,” she wrote in a post on X.

Her statement follows weeks of Democratic scrutiny over the Trump administration’s argument that Iran posed an “imminent threat” to the U.S.
