Easy. America has no business subsidizing the defense of countries who together have enough to defend yourselves from the pathetic Russians. Lets not even talk about the inability of anyone in Europe to project hard power.

You are so predictable 😆

The U.S. does not subsidize NATO in the simple way people often claim. NATO is funded by all member states through an agreed cost-sharing formula based on gross national income, and NATO’s own common budgets are only a small fraction of total allied defense spending. What is true is that the U.S. carries far more overall military weight than most allies. Israel is different. The U.S. does subsidize Israel directly through military and security assistance. According to the U.S. State Department, Washington has provided Israel with more than $130 billion in bilateral assistance, and the 2016 memorandum of understanding set a 10-year, $38 billion military aid package.

So pack up and leave europe, do it

Maybe Musk will make good on his promise to create a new party? America badly needs a decent, middle of the road, party with a leader who doesn’t tell lies.

Since Trump has NO charisma it says a lot, or not, about Carlson!

Tucker Carlson is basically just Trump without the charisma. I don't think he would have much appeal outside of the cult.

My bet is ditching Israel is going to be a core message in the 2028 election.

He has a small following, does not appeal to many people. Annoying facial expressions. Dumb laugh. A billion to one chance.

He would be the worst nomination ever.

My vote would be to.

Tucker Carlson described Donald Trump as a "slave" who “can’t make his own decisions” during an appearance on Newsmax. Carlson's remarks followed a lengthy Truth Social post where Trump criticized Carlson and other right-wing commentators.

Trump's post labelled Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones as having "Low IQs" and being "nut jobs." In response to Trump's comments, Carlson launched new merchandise, including baseball caps featuring the phrase "LOW IQ."

I think you're warm but don't think the general election will be that explicit.

What I think will happen on Isreal policy.

During the republican primary there will be major contenders who are not only anti Israel but clearly Jew hating pushing universal Jewish control conspiracy theories like Orban. We're already seeing that.

I don't know if someone from the faction will be nominated though.

On the democratic side a Zionist such as Shapiro can't be nominated and even though in different times he would be a top choice, I hope he doesn't even run. Yes he is a Jew but he's also clearly Zionist. That won't work now.

The democrat nominated will not be a Jew hater such as on the republican side's offerings but will need to be very critical of Israeli government policy.

An interesting x factor is my current favorite Pretzger of Illinois.

He's a very powerful communicator.

If he as a Jewish person clearly voices the needed criticism of Israel, that could be a great contrast to the disgusting Tucker Carlson types from the R party.

Of course a lot depends on many factors including how Trump's shambolic war of choice turns out.

We'll see.

This must be one of the few times that a Trumps post has been both accurate and truthful!

The criticism of Israel’s control over U.S. politics is out of the box, it won’t be put back in again and certainly not as this illegal Israeli/US war of aggression continues.

Tucker Carlson isn’t inventing the basis for criticizing Israel and the pro-Israel lobby in the U.S., and Israel committing war crimes under cover of U.S. protection, he’s merely giving voice to concerns that are now moving into the mainstream.

A reminder, Charlie Kirk was also voicing these same concerns.

The lid has come off.

True. He's tainted goods.

Has the influence of the Jewish diaspora on America's politics diminished much?

The US Jewish vote has always been split between conservative pro-business groups and more socially liberal groups. The real pro-Israel vote is the far-right Evangelical Christians which is a huge voting block. They believe that the rise of Israel and conflict in the middle-east is a sign that the end times of the book of Revelations is coming and big daddy Jesus will come soon to smite the godless liberals and take the 'good folks' to heaven.

Alex Jones for president, Tucker can be vice president.

They couldn't be any worse than the incumbents... perhaps the real MAGA ?

When did Israel start controlling US politics?

And just like that, Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Candice Owens and Megyn Kelly became truth-tellers and herpes to the left.

Has Liz Cheney and MTG weighed in? Let's roll these heroes out as well...

I made absolutely no such suggestion.

What triggered you to make that outrageous and baseless accusation (against me)?

Note, your need to make the ‘Antisemitism’ slur is not evidence of anything other than your own personal mode of discourse.

My side?

You’ve listed a string of rightwing commentators that are definitely not on my side of the political spectrum.
