It's funny to me that the hating brigade are constantly blabbing about the chosen people and using that as powerful attack cudgel. I am not religious at all but in all the years before I became atheist that I spent in Jewish weekend school, hanging out with Jewish friends and relatives some that went to very Jewish Brandeis which I visited, Jewish summer day camps, occasional visits to temples, etc. I never heard even one Jewish person including one rabbi utter that phrase. I am being totally honest about that.

I am speaking of the European Jews vs the Arab Jews, and their social standing in Israel, and historical standing, and the reasons for this.

There is also great racism among the people of Israel visible in their views toward the people of Palestine, and neighboring populations.
