Trouble is that US administration calls everything they don't like, whether it's true or not, "fake news". But they also spread a lot of lies by themselves, which are easily verified as such. And that makes it very difficult to know what is true and what isn't. While you would have thought military ship could not run out of food (army is all about planning for the worst), there were a few places where they docked that refused to provide them with supplies in the past month or 2, or refused them the right to dock or even pass through at all, mostly in Europe.

Hence we don't know if this is true or not, but if it at least got the attention of war minister, the denial would have to come with the evidence to contrary, hence sailors are in for some treats, at least for a while, so if nothing else, it's good for that.
