I quite like the organic, grass fed cow’s milk I find at Villa Market.

That sounds good. Grass fed beef is nice.

Labels? Don't bother! "No Sugar Added!" ... means lots of High Fructose Corn Syrup "Stevia Syrup"... means 0.5% Stevia, and 99% Malitol Anything to make a profit.

Vegemite is also high sodium and disgusting.

Sodium is essential for good health. Vegemite tastes great. Packed with B vitamins too. You must be a pom.

Fructose is linked to diabetes.

No it's not.

The body recognised it is taken up by the red blood cells in preference to glucose so we evolved such that the liver takes fructose out before it it gets to circulate

  • When the liver is repeatedly flooded with high doses of refined fructose, it can lead to Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), increased triglycerides, and uric acid buildup (a contributor to gout).

  1. Unlike glucose, which can be used by any cell for energy, fructose is processed almost entirely by the liver. When consumed in excess (especially via refined syrups), the liver converts it into fat. This leads to Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), which is a primary driver of systemic insulin resistance.

  • Total Cases: An estimated 1.3 billion people worldwide have the condition.

  • Regional Peaks: The highest rates are often found in the Middle East and North Africa (approaching 30–32%) and South America/North America (exceeding 35%).

From AI and Japan

  • The Findings: In some Japanese cohorts (especially among those with existing conditions like chronic kidney disease or the elderly), researchers found that those with a moderate-to-high salt intake (around 8–10g per day) actually had better survival rates than those on very restrictive diets (under 6g per day).

Ahhhh....

"from AI".

Righto then.

Where did AI source these facts?

From the internet of course.

Rinse & repeat on the merry-go-round.🙃🙃

I studied long, hard & large.

Didn't get published on the net though.

(not my downvote. Reckon it's that serial pest.)

((1986 was a pretty good year if I recall correctly.))🙃🙃

I like the ability to see studies quick. The body needs plenty of salt but not much sugar.
