We shop in them now and then. Not all that impressed. On my part of the Darkside, Mabprachan, we have 7-11s, CJ Mores, Mini Big Cs, and Lotus's Freshes. They're all not that different in size or what they sell, with the newer, slightly larger Lotus's Fresh stores coming out on top for us, although we do 7-11 a lot, too. What we'd like to see in my area is something like the Chill shopping center with a bigger grocery store like the Tops that Chill has.

I rate Lotus's at the bottom in my neck of the woods, with Tops not far behind them. I prefer Big C Mini and CJ More, and spend a lot at Seven. Every store is different, though, with some very organised while others are a hot mess with very poor service. I've always found service at any Lotus I've ever been to to be seriously bad.

There's a wholesale store on Chaiyaporn Vittee, just west of the railway line in Naklua, that has some very good deals on most grocery items. I don't often see foreigners in there, but it's fairly new. You won't see an English name, but it translates to: Sritikham Wholesale Supermarket ศรีธิคำค้าส่ง ซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต

It's bright orange on your left, heading East as you're nearing Railway Road.

Didn't realize they weren't already everywhere, as see them all the time. Makes sense, since most are within our 'day out' range, and along the west Gulf.
