Will more Trump allies start to abandon him soon?

Unfortunately the world and mainly Europe is learning in the hard way that America has not really been a friend or reliable ally since the end of ww2. Be it Trump or anybody else.

True. However, they are invested in renewable sources, e.g. wind and solar. AFAIK they are not invested in EV's.

Yes, that sounds like the cartoonish "ka-pow, ka-pow, bang, bang" style of Pete "OPSEC" Hegseth.

Do you think they'll allow him to use that enormous amount of grease in his hair during the war crimes trial?

What is the 50$ claim based on?

Probably the same source that claims it has 15% defence manufacturing capacity left, but you didn't question "davB" claims.

Intelligence is claiming all sorts of things, of rather dubious value. The war was started with the breathless claim that Iran was weeks from developing and deploying a nuclear weapon

https://www.democrats.senate.gov/newsroom/trump-transcripts/transcript-president-trump-addresses-the-friends-of-ireland-luncheon-at-the-capitol-31726

And I just do want to say that the war is proceeding very, very strongly and we're doing very, very well in Iran, knocking the hell out of them. And you have to do that. We can't let them have a nuclear weapon. They were two weeks away -- in my opinion, two weeks away from having a nuclear weapon. If those beautiful magnificent machines, those B-2 bombers, if they didn't do their job seven or eight months ago, they would have had -- they would have had a nuclear weapon and there would have been no talking to them, no talking at all.

More recently Secretary Hegseth, during Q&A with Adam Smith, stated that Operation Midnight Hammer completely obliterated Iran's nuclear programme, and that the current as was not about an imminent threat (so clearly at odds with the President), but about "nuclear ambitions".

Current US "Intelligence" reports indicate Iran is 9-12 months from a nuclear capability, the same assessment as immediately pre Midnight Hammer. Prior to Midnight Hammer, it was 3-6 months.

The problem is for these, and anything else, the methodology isn't shared, the assumptions made aren't shared. Knowing 50% of military capabilities have gone presumes you know what they had before, which they won't. heck, even the US doesn't know what military capabilties it has, because so much stuff gets lost and forgotten about. This was one of the points Hegseth brought up when requesting extrafunding, promising that by 2028, the DoD will finally complete an audit. 50% of Iran's military gone: the percentage assessed as destroyed has been going steadily downwards. Initial BDAs were done using AI, which proved terrible. I would not be surprised if the full report says "as much as 50%", but could be as low as 25%.

Even more contentious is knowing Iran's defence manufacturing capability. That's even more vague. Before WW2, what was the US defence manufacturing capcity? And during WW2? Why did it get bigger. It got bigger because pretty much anything related to engineering in wartime became defence production. Those truck trailer missile and drone launchers; can be made in pretty much any bus garage, by a welder with access to steel stock and a cutting torch. So the 15% is an even worse number. But you never questioned that, you only questioned the 50%.

And guess what the 9-12 months means. <deleted> all. Its a standard guess for any country with nuclear fission knowhow to come up with a bomb.

How long could it take Germany to make a nuclear weapon; 1-2 years

How long could it take Japan to make a nuclear weapon; 6 months to 1 year

How long could it take South Korea to make a nuclear weapon; 1-3 years

Brazil; 1 year

Pretty much any latent nuclear power could be 12 months from the bomb. There is only one way to ensure Iran lacks the ambition to build a nuclear weapon. And thats to kill all their scientists. And their kids, And their dogs. I suspect you wouldn't believe Iran if they said they have abandoned all ambitions. And you shouldn't believe even a democratic Iran that says that, because we know ourselves, Democracies lie all the time.

Is it your position that Iran should be allowed to continue developing their intercontinental ballistic missile, military drone, and nuclear programs?

Should Iran be allowed to continue funding their terrorist proxies?

I have not been watching something I have never heard of.

Shell, BP, TotalEnergies, and ENI have all been building EV charging networks. Shell has so far installed 75,000. Total looks to get 150,000 by end of this year. American companies are a bit slower, but are also now starting to invest in charging networks,as the petrol station forecourt changes.

They are all heavily invested in battery technologies.

It doesn't matter to an electric car how the electricity is generated. You can have dozens of different sources, but the electrons are all the same.

After a decade brainlessly mocking Trump for his SKIN COLOR the far left attempt to regain the moral high ground by pearl clutching over SKIN COLOR jokes.

Incredible!!🤣😅😂

What's incredible is the lack of critical thinking of Trump supporters.

His decision to invade Iran without consulting anyone except Israel, or considering potential retaliation, has created a godawful mess which will take years to clean up.

Yet still his devotees think he's great. Just how uneducated and stupid does one have to be to think that way?

It is amusing the number of hateful leftists that are always too busy to support their false claims.

Oh, so we’re still playing the "he doesn't have a prejudiced bone in his body" game? That is adorable. I truly admire the commitment to the bit. It must be exhausting to maintain that level of selective amnesia, but since you’re clearly struggling with the "evidence" part of the equation, let me help you expand the highlights reel—with all the subtle nuance of a sledgehammer.

You claim Trump isn’t racist? Well, here is the "evidence" for the defense:

The "Universal Love" Tour

  • Ape Imagery: Portraying the Obamas as apes is clearly just a sophisticated commentary on evolutionary biology, right? Definitely not a centuries-old racist trope. My mistake.

  • The "Blood" Analysis: When he says immigrants are "poisoning the blood of our country," he’s obviously just concerned about the national hematology report. It’s a health concern! It totally has nothing to do with that 1930s German rhetoric everyone keeps "misinterpreting."

  • The Culinary Critique: The claim that "Haitians are eating the pets in Springfield" was clearly just a very niche Yelp review. It’s not like spreading baseless, dehumanizing urban legends about Black immigrants has ever led to anything bad in history.

Policy or "Performance Art"?

  • The Proud Boy Fan Club: Telling a violent extremist group to "Stand back and stand by" was just him being a supportive life coach. Everyone needs a hobby, even guys in tactical vests.

  • The "Merit" Shield: Dismantling DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) isn't about exclusion; it's about making sure the "right" people get the jobs—you know, the ones who look like the people who have always had the jobs. Pure coincidence.

  • The "Travel" Suggestions: Those Muslim bans weren't about religion; they were just a very aggressive way of suggesting people vacation elsewhere. Very helpful!

  • Police Accountability (or lack thereof): Having the DOJ abolish consent decrees meant to stop police brutality is just "streamlining." Who needs oversight when you have "vibes"?

  • Family Values: Nothing says "pro-family" like the forced separation of children from their parents. It’s basically a surprise summer camp, except with cages and lifelong trauma.

  • Urban Planning: Targeting cities with large Black populations for "election integrity" checks is just him being a fan of geography. He just happens to really, really dislike the geography of Detroit and Atlanta.

Honestly, I’m vibrating with anticipation to see what Olympic-level weasel words you’ll deploy to justify this list. The mental gymnastics required to flip these into "acts of kindness" should honestly be a sanctioned sport at this point.

You seem to have "Leftists" on the brain 24/7. It’s impressive, really—we are living rent-free in that spacious, echo-y head of yours. You call us "hateful"? Talk about projecting. You’re practically a IMAX theater at this point.

I’d suggest a cup of tea, a Bex, and a good lie down. Though, be careful—if you lie down too flat, you might accidentally see things from a different perspective, and we wouldn't want to break the winning streak of your delusions.

Another lie, he was talking about murderers and rapists, not "immigrants"

The Haitians were destroying a community, haw is pointing that out racist?

How is this racist?

How is eliminating race as a determining factor racist?

There was never a Muslim ban, to say there was to lie. In any event, Muslim is not a race.

How is this racist?

Ahh, the forced separation lie.

What are you not able to speak for youself?

Obviously, more eloqently than someone who can only repeat "you're lying " like a broken record, using multiple evasions. As expected.
