Yes. However you are an exception.

Folk doing extensions retirement are in the main not doing Thai tax returns

No offence but I'm pretty sure that most (Excluding US Social Security, Canadian or most country's Government/Military Pensiom holders) should probably be filing a Tax return.

As an Aussie remitting at least 780K pa, unless this is from pre-2024 savings or you have a Gov/Military pension then the chances are you probably should be doing a Thai Tax return.

Maybe something for another thread but this is why I wouldn't move to the 65K pm income method unless the proposed change to rules whereby "Same Year/ Year After" income is exempt & even then I'd be wary of FIFO rules.

I do the monthly income deposit with BBL. Too easy, and they will provide you with everything you need. For my Imm office, it's 3 statements; Balance, running account, credit advices. Pop into BB

If using the monthly transfer method to support your next extension renewal, BBL will provide you with a 12 month statement and a certified letter confirming that you are the owner of the account. Wh

You need to use a stronger eraser, it's still possible to read your account number. Why you've obfuscated the transfer amount is anyone's guess, as you can just subtract the previous balance from the

Certainly is for another thread. Many rambling Taxation threads on Aseannow.

The thread concerns income method.

I may have asked about this earlier in the thread, but when should the bank statement and eventually the credit advice be valid from -to? My current extension is valid until August 24, but I always apply for an extension July 20-24, so about a month earlier but pension isn't here before 30 every month so will the bank statement and credit line be accepted from June one year to June the following year, or does it have to be from the month I apply, or to the month the visa/extension is valid until? I may add that the bank statement and bank book will of course be updated on the same day or as mentioned allowed, 2-3 days in advance to the day I apply. (As previously mentioned, this applies to 2027)

Thanks

Query can Bangkok bank issue six months statements on the spot or do they have to obtain them from head office as with the twelve months statements. I did ask at my local branch but I departed more confused than when I arrived English being in short supply.

Nobody with experience if bank statement / credit advice needs to include the month for application or if it can be from the month before as long as it shows 12 months with transfers?
