It's busted...........for now.!

If it’s an urban myth, it’s been going on a long time. I remember back in the eighties talk that locals on the Greek island of Ios were putting up such signs.

Also the Philippine island of Siargao locals were up in arms a few years ago with similar complaints to those of Phangan. i.e. the opening of a Chabad house for Israeli military to relax, recuperate and or recover. Also the hosting of late night parties, disrespecting, insulting, and threatening the locals etc.

If true, sounds the same modus operandi.

It seems from social media posts that the shop's owner, Miss BiBi, was pissed off at a certain Israeli guy for awhile but got over it. She has difficulties with anyone who criticizes her hair-cutting skill.

It's difficult to see from the Internet whether PunPun Thai Food still has a "No Israeli" sign hanging. But it is clear from its Instagram page Israelis won't be served, so we'll count that as if they have a sign.

One restaurant out of 30,000 has a "No Israeli" sign. Does anyone still want to claim there are "many" such signs in Thailand?

I asked for evidence of "No Israelis welcome" signs currently on display in Thailand. You gave an example from a Greek island in the 1980s and named a dispute between Israelis and some local residents in the Philippines. What does that have to do with the situation TODAY in Thailand???

Here in phuket, i have seen no shops with no Israelis signs

BUT i have seen more and more shops opening that have connection with Israel
be it in their signs or the clientele
Chabad house got some air time when an israeli told a thai official that the house was Israeli territory ( yea right, Patong is NOT the west bank)

still see more signs saying

The Israeli settlers seem to be a Godless bunch, that are fighting in the name of who knows what. They appear to be extreme, supported by a morally bankrupt state, violent and incredibly greedy. Israel has a lot to answer for, and both the nation and its people around the world seem to be getting less and less in the way of affection and respect on a daily basis.

New polls are showing 67% of Israelis agree with the abolishment of the Palestinian people so you obviously have a lot of ex Iaraeli soldiers traveling around Thailand with fairly hateful hearts, one can only wonder why they are not welcome in certain places.

A friend of mine who lives on Koh Phangan, tells me that the island has more or less been taken over by young Israelis, who hang out in small cliques, and monopolize many restaurants and coffee shops. He tried to enter a temple that they had set up, as he is half Jewish, and he was denied entry after realizing the place was being guarded by seven local policemen, who are obviously being paid off by the local rabbi. They questioned him asked him where he was from and then told him to leave. The locals seem to support them as they are signing two and three year leases, and paying cash in advance for the rentals, as a lot of other people are fleeing the island.

And I can honestly say I am too young to have seen any No Mexican signs which some businesses in Mexican part of America used to have.

It's not like Americans can tell the difference between a Mexican and someone from Guatemala, El Salvador, Venezuela, etc.

Reckon Jews can't tell the difference between Palestinians and Arabs either.

Palestinians are predominantly Arab by language and modern ethnic identity, while their ancestry is largely rooted in the indigenous populations of the historical Levant, alongside later admixture.

Same with Guatemalans. Guatemalans are primarily "Mexican" by language and "modern ethnic identity" but are mostly Chollos with indigenous admixtures.
