The faith of the Palestinians. Once more.

Featured Replies

As the world turns, the chances that there ever will be a "Palestinian State" is waning fast.

As they speak the same language, have the same religion, why has the "Arabic World" not offered the Palestinians "integration" in the many "Arabic countries". Divided over the many arabic countries, they would be a minority, not disturbing the "powers in place" in those countries. But giving them "a new home" within the Arabic world. Especially as the former "Palestine" is (or will) become part of Israel.

Asking: Why does the Arabic World not want Palestinians in their countries? Why is it that nobody wants the Palestinians?

100 percent true but the obsessive Israel demonizers either don't know that fact, or if they've heard about it, they simply deny it as it doesn't fit with their Jews white evil colonizers/Arabs brown

Not really, unless the rest of the Arabic nations would see the Palestinians as " worms". Hardly, as by dividing them up among the many Arab States, they will stay a minority, not challenging existing "power-structures".

So, the question remains: What have Arabic Nations against their "brothers"? Refusing them to find new homelands within their geographical/religious corner of the world?

2000 years ago, yes. They called themselves "Philistines" back then. Coastal dwellers. King David fought them successfully. Today, they call themselves Palestinians. A long conquest over the land followed. Israel won. It's hard to lose a war.

Todays citizens of Italy would not dream of conquering the rest of Europe again, just because the old Romans owned Europe in ancient time. Conclusion: Accept defeat in war. The Palestinians have lost the war and Israel has won.

But the question remains: Why are Arab Nations not willing to give their brothers a new homeland?

One reason is that they do not trust the Palestinians. And for good reason. Palestinian refugees and minorities do not have a very good record wherever they go. Plus, frankly, most other ethnically Arab countries look down on them as inferior culturally. Finally, they have been very useful as attack dogs against Israel for the past half century or more. Although that may be changing.

Modern Palestinian Arabs (an identity group manufactured for political reasons since Israel existed) have NOTHING to do with ancient Philistines.

You sure do fling about a lot of garbage misinformation here.

Modern Palestinians do not descend from the ancient Philistines, as the Philistines were largely destroyed by the 5th century BCE, while the ancestors of Palestinians arrived in the region much later. The term "Palestinian" is derived from "Philistine," but it refers to the people who historically lived in the region, not a direct lineage from the Philistines.

As far as Italians are concerned, it gets more interesting as there are strong genetic connections between Arabs, Jews, and ... wait for it ... Italians.

What other "refugee" group clings to that identity so long and hard?

The Jewish people impacted by the massive Jewish Nakba (from the Arab world, North Africa, Iraq, etc.) who often had all their wealth and lands stolen have moved on from that long ago.

I think the Arab world often uses Palestinian permanent refugee status to deflect hatred towards Israel so that they don't have to deal with their own internal problems which have nothing to do with Jews or Israelis.

No I'm not saying that's the full entire story nor am I saying that Israeli governments have behaved well either, but it's definitely part of the story.

I'm taking that as a troll post, but what "refugee group" are you a part of?

The European Germanic tribes.

And I've suffered racism against me and my people all my life.

Would you want a country populated by mothers having as many kids as possible and proudly bragging that they hope they will all become suicide bombers?

The Iranian FM Araghchi when asked a similar question had an excellent response, albeit with a bit of saucy humor. Paraphrasing:

The Palestinians have lived there for thousands of years. It's their home. I have a suggestion to kill two birds with one stone. Give the Israeli Jews American citizenship and send them to Greenland.

Makes sense. Caucasians belong as natives in the ME as much as they belong say in Thailand. But Greenland? Araghchi might have forgotten about the native Inuits who look like this:-)

It's not clear where the Jews go where they won't be a pain in the ass.

That's a myth, many Palestinians emigrated to the area when it became prosperous when the Jews began building the Country .

They emigrated from surrounding Countries for work in Isreal

You're talking about a right wing political ideology of white resentment in the west which was the main force that brought the maga fascist Trumpist regime to power.

Nothing at all to do with the subject of "permanent refugee" status often associated with Palestinian Arabs.

As I suspect. you are just trolling.

Palestinians emigrated to Israel after it was established in 1948. There were none there before then. Makes sense. Do you have a podcast or newsletter I can subscribe to?

Good heavens, I am not a Jew hater. Well, okay, I'll qualify that. Those in the top pic, I would cross the street to avoid. Gal Gadot? Oh, yea.

Gotta be selective in loathing Israeli Jews. Can't throw out the babe with the bathwater.

No, that wasn't what I said .

Can you compare my post to your post and notice the difference yourself ?

*That's a myth, many Palestinians emigrated to the area when it became prosperous when the Jews began building the Country .

Can you see the word that changes the context between our two posts ?

Wherever Jews go, your side will be following them there and try to make them go somewhere else .

Disputing rights to be there in the basis of ‘emigration’ is a remarkably myopic argument.

They are mostly Jordanians and even Jordan doesn't want them back, you can see where the real problem is no ?
