All these members calling Farage and Reform but they won't answer if he is as bad as they say and reform are a blip why did most of the country vote for them in the county Elections...

Hold that thought... and ponder why about 78 million otherwise reasonable people voted for Donald J Trump?

Then, hold on and see what happens in the US mid-terms.

Regarding those "calling Farage and Reform", they have already said multiple times why they don't believe the guy and what he and his cohort stands for. It's a viewpoint that you disagree with but don't say that "they won't answer" just because you won't listen.

Well nobody else has seen it "apparently" so I would think it was 👍

What you saw appeared to be the reflection of the burning wheelie bin on the visor.

Nothing to see here, no rioting, move along now.

A its got nothing to do with Trump or the mid terms in the US. B You said they already said multiple times they dont believe the Guy. I did not ask what they believe, I asked why did millions vote for his party and the reason why they beat the other 2 main party's.

Ok, since thinking outside the box is a challenge for you, I'll try and keep it simple.

The reason they voted for Reform is because the Tories were cast into the wilderness at the last General Election, Labour is doing a poor job since taking power and the Lib Dems are the perpetual also-rans. Voters are sick fed up of politicians that can't deliver. They've had enough of the frothy promises of election manifestos and the inevitable torpor and deceit of whoever wins. Without getting into faith and ethnicity, I reckon we would broadly agree there?

For perspective, the voter turnout for the 2026 local council and mayoral elections where Reform "crushed" the rest was only a tad over 40%. That suggests that the better part of 50% of eligible voters haven't fallen in love with Farage, his party, or any of the others. They don't believe the Guy (sic) or anyone else for that matter. Yes, they wiped Labour's clock, but more councils slipped into the "no overall control" than turned turquoise.

Remember when Boris smashed the "red wall"? More importantly, do you remember what happened afterwards? Free clue here..."wilderness."

There's still a long way to go to 2029.

The UK news can go so low a snake wouldn't know if they crawled under it.

Maybe the £20k tax band or guaranteeing the triple lock...or maybe even getting the NHS back on it's feet by using private Drs...no expense to the public..3 good reasons there

No worries Barra, it's not Reform's spouting that bothers me as much as what they're spouting.

As for Farage? All hat, no cattle.

I watched Question Time from Makerfield last night (It will on BBC iPlayer if anyones interested) after watching it I would say Reform have got no chance.

Women make up 50% of the electorate and there was not one woman who had anything good to say about him if fact quite the opposite they were all against him.

Not surprising really when he has said things like.

“Abortion is the cowardly act of murdering a defenceless baby,”

“Don’t dole out the ‘what if someone is raped by their brother’ argument.

He's described abortion as a “cowardly act of murdering a defenceless baby” and suggested women falsely claim rape in order to access abortion care.

Women do it so they can shag anyone they want.

Women can’t “ref, drive or give directions” and declared: “I’m sexist, sorry but I am.”

His only excuse was those are comments I made years ago and didn't even attempt to apologise.

Meanwhile Reform UK has backed Kenyon and said the party said it had no plans to investigate him over his previous comments.

Burnham (Labour) was the standout winner last night Kenyon (Reform) lost badly.

Seems the bookies share my opinion todays odds Burnham 1/5 (favourite by a mile) Kenyon 4/1 Restore 9/1 Conservatives Lib Dems etc. 1000/1

Doesn't matter what I think I don't live there but you cant insult half the electorate and expect them. to vote for you 15 yrs ago or not.

Perhaps if women didn't have a vote it may be different but the fact is they do.

Burnam I would say is going to win by a large margin.
