A man has been arrested and another left with serious injuries after a sickening knife attack in Northern Ireland on Monday.

Graphic mobile phone footage showed the offender straddling the bloodied victim’s chest and hacking at his neck as bystanders scream “he’s trying to cut his head off”.

The BBC are at it again....poor guy gets almost beheaded after having his eyes gauged and they say

"brutal attack'

All the police in Northern Ireland carry guns he's lucky he wasn't shot.

If all illegal immigrants were detained and locked up when they arrived instead of being allowed to roam free wherever they want it would solve a lot of problems for a start they would not be able to just disappear when their asylum claim is refused and could be deported.

Its a fact the Home Office has lost track of thousands of asylum seekers whose claim was refused.

They could be housed in old military camps with security armed if necessary and not allowed out.

It would also reduce the number trying to cross the Chanel in the first place maybe even stop it altogether.

Agreed - given the political temperature in the UK at the moment - whatever his immigration status, it would be wise of authorities to release the full information and fill that void.

Appears that by the time the police arrived the locals, including a man with a hurling stick, had just about got the upper hand.

Maybe the police should have driven round the block once or twice.

30 years ago it wouldn't have only been the police he would of had to worry about there was also the British Army (UDR part of the British Army), IRA or UDA/UVF depending on what area of Belfast he was in they all had guns.

The IRA & UVF took it upon themselves to "defend" their own communities they even used to shoot each other so shooting a Somalian would have been no problem.

I've been saying this all along.

It blows my mind that a government would allow unchecked men from uncivilised countries/cultures to wander the streets. This and the previous government are jointly responsible (along with the perps) for all of these attacks. Ministers should be put on trial for treason.
