Sir Keir Starmer speaks about Belfast incident

Sir Keir Starmer said the attack in Belfast is “sickening” and he will have “absolutely no tolerance for abhorrent scenes of violence like this on our streets”.

His statement read: “The horrific attack in Belfast last night is sickening.

“I have absolutely no tolerance for abhorrent scenes of violence like this on our streets.

“My thoughts are first and foremost with the victim, and I thank the first responders, including members of the public who intervened.”

Well if one of us had done the same here, there would be cries of "30 years in Prison" followed by "Deport and Blacklist" Can't really argue with that to be honest,

This could get very interesting not only with regard to what his sentence will be , but also with regard to the usual commentators on here trying to explain away his behaviour and accusing the far right of stoking "division and hatred" by mentioning the usual uncomfortable facts

If you want a quick trial in a magistrates court, along with the limited sentence a magistrate may impose say so.

What’s your objection to pointing out the facts of why the perp should be tried in a Crown Court v a Magistrate’s Court?

If you wish the Perp to be tried in a Magistrate’s Court and therefore receive a lighter sentence for do so.

The arraignment will before a magistrate, the trial will be in a Crown Court following the Crown Court schedule…. So not a ridiculous comment afterall.

She can rest easy, It will be a while before Reform rightfully takes control , and a little bit longer to get a properly organised deportation schedule drawn up . then there are the logistics and of course priorities need to be established.
