The throwing about of this term "woke" and how some see it it as this horrible way to think, is laughable.

Can i ask why understanding social inequalities (yes they do exist...) and racial injustices (please look at white people incarcerated vs. black people in the U.S.) is some kind of horrible thing? I guess having political consciousness and recognizing privilege or systemic bias, might be over the education levels of the people throwing the term out to slam others.
