Shocking? Hardly.

I find the calls for destruction of the Persian civilization more shocking. Unfortunately, looking at the source also that was no surprise.

Well they killed the Iranian 'supreme leader' along with many others so 'what comes around goes around' and 'karma is a bitch' applies 100%

One may reasonably consider that Ukraine and Iran are tomorrow's threats to the west. Not really Russia.... for the moment anyhow.

And that's the thanks Mr Trump gets for bringing democracy and peace to their country?

The imams ought to be embarrassed.

Pathetic.

MAGA will still blame it on Left Wing Radicals,

Qatari Air Force1. Whoops! Up in smoke.

MAKE ALMONDJOY GREAT AGAIN!

Does anyone here know why it's an unwritten rule among most countries NOT to assassinate other heads of state. Because once the assassination genie is out of its bottle, there is no stuffing him back in. The US and Israel consider the assassination of the leaders of any country it chose to be perfectly fine. Then suddenly the shoe is on the other foot with all of the appropriate calls of indignation, outrage, and wrath. But what do you expect? I have no doubt that Netanyahu and every IDF general are legitimate targets for the IRGC. Trump and US generals? Why not? Trump and the Pentagon consider the leadership of Iran to be legitimate assassination targets. Why wouldn't what is good for the goose not good for the gander.

Or?

Make the assassination of heads of state and military leadership off limits because once one side starts, then it's "Game On" for everyone.
Personally I would rather live in a world where heads of state and their upper leadership are completely off limits in regards to assassinations.

Forget about Saddam, Muammar? The US started a trend. South American leaders?

This is all for show, of course. Look at Castro. Killing leaders is not so easy.

In any case, the US is too broken to fix. Killing Trump wouldn't float that boat again.

Iran clerics call for Trump (and Netanyahu's) assassinations

Heck, I wonder why? They must have just woke up one morning and decided it's a good day to whack the US and Israel leaders for no reason at too. Or, perhaps there is a reason?

Then the fact that Iran is having funeral services for it's leader who was killed along with his family members when the US/Israel first struck. Personally I imagine that the leaders of the US and Israel are now considered "fair game" targets in The New Great Game.

Iran’s most senior religious figures have issued a shocking call for the assassination of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ...

There will be zillions of champagne bottles popping if this happens. Muslims don't drink you say? I was talking about Europe.

From Rome to London they are sick of their overlord and their overlord's overlord. Not that the assassinations will mean liberty, but they will bring a moment's joy to the vassals.

I'm thinking that these people just put themselves at the top of the next target strike list.

Trump says 'one shot' can take out leaders mourning Khamenei

US president Donald Trump said that he was surprised to see thousands mourn former supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and that just "one shot" could take out all the regime's leaders who've assembled at the funeral.

“They are all there. One shot and we can take them all out, but we are not going to do that because then we would have nobody to negotiate with," Trump told Axios yesterday.

Iran strongly criticised Trump's remark, terming it offensive in a strongly worded statement, defending the late supreme leader’s legacy.

"People can be killed, but ideals cannot. You killed Ayatollah Khamenei, but in reality, you broke a perfume bottle whose scent spread everywhere," Iran’s embassy in Yerevan said on X.

Trump says 'one shot' can take out leaders mourning Khamenei - live

Trump assassinated Iran's leaders back on Feb 28th so no surprise they feel the same way about him.
