The sexualisation of children

I was teen from mid 1960s and kid before that time. Don’t forget that pornography first became legally and socially free in 1969, and that was in my native home country Denmark, which was the first country in the world to fully legalize pornography. My father — of course — didn't have that kind of stuff.

But there were other and legal ways to watch photos of naked people. One was nudist magazines — which were legal and available in many news-stands — actually with a number of naked underage girls. I presume that kind of stuff is banned today. Another way — and more pornographic, actually sometimes quite hot stuff — was art; i.e., mainly drawings. Art was — and probably still is — a legal way to visually show fantasies of many levels.

Some so-called French Postcards — little old-fashioned erotic pocket-sized cards featuring nude or semi-nude women, sometimes also real pornography — was also in circulation.

Undercover 8mm pornographic B/W film also circulated, and was shown at young folk's parties, especially in middle- or upper-class levels. My rock band in middle school was hired to play at some of these parties. Originals were filmed at 16mm and it was a huge undercover industry in the 1950s and earlier, until 1969, when it became legalized. Some of the models were minors — i.e., under 18 years old — I had a girlfriend that made (good) extra money in that industry.

Some of my middle school mates had illegal magazines — I think they could be bought under the counter in many newspaper shops — which was circulated. So did stories among pals in middle school, some even written down. The latter was a bit awkward when a teacher found it — especially if a female teacher — I remember a teacher from a parallel class coming to our classroom to ask if this was a script from one of us, and then read it out loud. Of course, nobody said "yes, it's mine". It however sounded like being written experience by a girl. We all had red-bloused faces from the content, probably unheard stuff for most of the class, at least for me at that time...🫢

But back then — in the 1960s — we boys didn't need to know that much, as both the Danish and Swedish girls seemed to know all what was necessary, and they didn't mind to share their knowledge physically with us boys. Only God knows from where they got their knowledge...🤔 At that time you didn't ask about age — and didn't have to sign a written contract of consent, which seems to be needed to be on a safe side now on days...😄 — things just happened, and everybody seemed happy enough with it.

But 1969 changed all — books, porn magazines, posters, live show clubs — a few years later newspapers would have a daily nude teen photography, and a weekly family-magazine had them in colours, mainly girls between 15 and 18 years old — unthinkable and illegal today — however, it did happen that girl in the pictures sometimes was little older.

I believe Denmark was the first to legalise pornography (1969) was the last country to ban kiddie porn (2005). In the porn shops in Copenhagen, there were magazines (& films?) of babies being abused and, of course, teens (of both sexes). The same material was available on DVD in the backrooms of Pantip Plaza.

I was not exactly young when I first visited but fishing was great!

According to friends of mine, some of whom have daughters, many are sexually active by the age of 13, and in some circles girls who are not active at that age are scorned in the 7th grade. That's an A

  • Is it more bankrupt that in Thailand, families send their daughters to Pattaya to engage in prostitution with older Western men just to cover basic expenses due to the lack of a social safety net? Or

  • Years ago in Phuket, my mad ex-wife refused to let her brother build a small house (very small house) on the land where we were building her 10-room small hotel. I thought him living on the hotel land

Remember those X-Ray Spex advertised in comic books. They didn't work.

Zuckerberg is selling AI glasses marketed to do the same.

Off topic. To walk into any department store, one first has to pass through the cosmetics section with the cloying reek of perfumes. (I like the way girls smell!)

I noticed this trip how many of the creams and lotion bottles are shaped like dildos! Check it out, even with that distinctive curve. The person who markets one that vibrates too is going to make a killing!

Likely, I didn't visit those shops; so, I have no idea.

Much said here concerning this subject. As I have done before, I try to boil it down to "essentials" once more.

We have a short memory. In the 14th century, a girl at 12 was "ready to get married": Usually to a bloke much older than her. Peasants, Aristocrats, never mind.

Measured by todays "moral standarts" those guys were all "child molesters". Today, Gary Glitter would walk among us as a free man as he has done nothing wrong, him living in his age.

The old Greeks (the cradle of democracy), if wealthy enough, had their underaged playmates (females as well as males). Anal sex not an invention of "modern times".

Surely, "times are changing". Isen't it ? And we have a short memory.

In the 14th century, individuals were executed by burning at the stake for heresy, witchcraft, and blasphemy. In modern times, it is unacceptable for older men to marry 12-year-old girls, except in primitive parts of the world. What compels you to justify or defend child abuse?
