The sexualisation of children

Featured Replies

Further to my study of the UK ‘rape gang’ phenomenon, there is another aspect we need to consider.

Even at toddler age, girls want to try on their mother’s lipstick and high heels. We laugh and call it cute.

By the age of five, they can be dancers, models, actors, competitive sports, all of which require an adult outlook. They are showered with attention and flirted at. Touched. They like it.

Untitled.jpg

Thai temple fairs often have reviews of these little girls, usually tweens in skimpy outfits. Beauty pageants for children, tweens, teens.

And then comes the brassiere. Every tween wants to be fitted for a bra even when there’s nothing there.

All kids want to be seen as grown-up, sophisticated. Young teens start wearing sparkly eye shadow, a little blush. Even before they really have any idea what sex is (except for the mechanics of porn), they want to look sexy.

Girls and boys can’t determine fantasy from reality. Boys expect every girl to be ready for sex and girls think dropping to their knees is foreplay.

What makes them vulnerable, though, is more emotional than a paint job. They want to be loved, they crave attention, affection and when a boy or man starts to lavish it on them, they soak it up like a sponge.

Of course, boys, and men, basically <just> want to get into girls’ pants. The girls really don’t know what those feelings are but they still respond to them. Touching a boy and being touched is new, exciting.

Today’s role models are celebrities and girl groups wearing next to nothing. Girls copy not only the dress but the attitude. Brooke Shields was 15 when nothing came between her and her Calvins. If you're telling me she wasn't sexy, you've got nothing in y our pants. And rap is equally to blame for skewed values.

Before 16, it’s called rape. And if there is a significant age difference, I agree that it is.

So what do we do with the pretty birds and the bees who are eager to sting them? By the time they’re teenagers, many girls are out of control even with a solid family.

Is it more bankrupt that in Thailand, families send their daughters to Pattaya to engage in prostitution with older Western men just to cover basic expenses due to the lack of a social safety net? Or is it more bankrupt then Thai men fathering children and then abandon them without taking responsibility for their support?

In 2008 in Cornwall I was teaching highschool, just before letting my class (age 14) into the classroom a group of 14yo girls were discussing if they let their boyfriends have a£&l sex with them.

Back in the day the kids were using their parents as role models. The girls copying their mums and the boys their dads. Yes, some were slightly different and most grew out of it. But I don't thing parents encouraged their children to go outside the norm. Now the kids are encouraged by what they see on the internet and what they are taught at school. Nothing wrong with being homosexual providing you keep it in your private life. Now it seems many gays want to flaunt it and shout, 'Look at me. I'm gay.' Going on to transexual and misidentifying is, in my opinion, a different kettle of fish. It's living a lie and expecting others to believe it. You are born either a male or female. I'm hetersexual bye the way.

In the "old days" royalty often married underage (by our standards) girls.

Richard II of England married Isabella of Valois (1396) when she was 6 years old.

Louis XVI of France married Marie Antoinette of Austria (1770) when he was 15 and she was 14. The same ages as Edward I of England and Eleanor of Castile (1254).

Edward II was supposedly gay or bisexual in the 14th century.

By the 1960s people even wrote songs about what was going on.

"Young Girl" by Gary Puckett & The Union Gap (1968)

"Stray Cat Blues" by The Rolling Stones (1968)

"Sweet Little Rock and Roller" by Chuck Berry (1958/1960s)

It isn't a modern "thing" at all.

"Cynthia Plaster Caster (real name Cynthia Albritton) was a visual artist and infamous 1960s "groupie" celebrated for making plaster and bronze molds of rock stars' erect penises and, later, female musicians' breasts.

"Her unconventional art project immortalized over 70 famous musicians and cultural figures. {Arnold Palmer?]

"Over the decades, Albritton’s project expanded to include filmmakers, actors, and other artists. Her famous subjects included figures like Eric Burdon, Jello Biafra, and Pete Shelley. She also cast the breasts of female artists like Peaches and Karen O.

"The famous rock band KISS immortalized her in their 1977 song "Plaster Caster". A documentary film titled Plaster Caster was released in 2001, detailing her life and art."

Interesting comment. My Thai son has 3 daughters, the middle girl is just 14. She loves to dress up to be a 'pretty lady' every day. Sje has quite a wardrobe of dresses / lingerie and shoes.

She has 2 Thai spinster aunts who continuously send her sexy clothes and outfits.

Enough enough her mother tells her (and the other kids) to shower and get dressed to go to a local

big premier shopping complex. she emerges in a sexy clothes, short shorts, fully revealed midrife and lots of make up. Then a fight with mum and dad insisting she change her clothes or the trip will be cancelled. She won't listen and twice her older sister (soon 22 year old uni student sister) stayed home with her. A couple of times big sister has sat with her in their bedroom and got her to select / change to other clothes not so sexy.

She won't accept all efforts to try to get the 14 year old to understand she is inviting older boys to touch her and even try to 'fondle' her.

Her older sister (soon 22) has tried to explain that older boys don't hesitate to try to trick girls into sex. And older sister has explained what sex really means and what rape means.

The problem continues with mum and older sister always with her.

Also on one occasion her school (not a gov't schol' has called her mother to come and pick her up because at mornng recess time she returned to the class room in a skin revealing outfit and she doesn't understand why the other girls and boys and her main teacher (female) reacted strongly.

I just read that they teach 11 year olds in classes, presumably mixed classes with boys and girls, how to put on a condom, demonstrating with a banana.

In UK ? I think he was talking about the UK.

11 is below the age of consent and this practice needs to be challenged.

In Thailand its the influence of tiktok, youtube and yt shorts, facebook etc. Essentially, social media. I have come to believe that it is poison for a developing mind and more so for girls. I hope Thailand bans social media for kids soon, like in Australia and other countries. Keeps your kids off that s***.

sorry don't have a source.

it may or may not be accurate.

but if you have an 11 year old in the school system, you might want to ask what they're doing in school.

It sounds like some school is getting ahead of a problem that should have already been covered by the parents.

In England, sex education is introduced gradually rather than all at once.

  • Ages 4–11 (Primary school): Children receive Relationships Education and Health Education. This covers topics such as friendships, families, personal boundaries, respect, online safety, body parts, and puberty. Reproduction is also taught as part of the science curriculum. Primary schools may teach sex education, but it is not compulsory beyond the science curriculum.

  • Ages 9–11 (Years 5–6): Most schools introduce puberty and may cover basic sex education in an age-appropriate way. Under the revised guidance coming into force from September 2026, sex education should not be taught before Year 5 (age 9–10).

  • Ages 11–16 (Secondary school): Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) is compulsory. Topics include:

    • Sexual relationships

    • Consent

    • Contraception

    • Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

    • Pregnancy

    • Sexual orientation

    • Online safety, including pornography

    • Healthy and unhealthy relationships

Parents in England can withdraw their child from the non-statutory sex education elements in primary school and, in secondary school, up to three terms before the child turns 16. They cannot withdraw a child from the science curriculum or from compulsory Relationships Education.

The curriculum differs slightly in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, but all UK nations introduce relationship education in primary school and more detailed sex education during secondary school.

Years ago in Phuket, my mad ex-wife refused to let her brother build a small house (very small house) on the land where we were building her 10-room small hotel. I thought him living on the hotel land was a great idea, since he could be the night security, handman etc.

But ex said no and so he built a bamboo hut by the road outside, where he lived with his wife, 20-year old daughter, 2 younger daughters aged 13 and 14 years, and a young son of 5 years old. I actually had guardianship over the 2 younger daughters, to pay their school fees, buy school uniform etc and ensure that they went to school, (because the family was so poor). I took pity on the girls and so they lived at my rented bungalow near the hotel, where I had a spare room.

These 2 girls were a real challenge! Every evening, they would go out to 'play' with the teen boys with their motorbikes in the nearby woods. I knew this would end 'badly', so I insisted that they were home and in their room by 9.30pm. They would come home, wait for me to go to sleep, and then creep out of the door to go play with the boys.... :)

So I took to locking the front door after they were home. So as it was a bungalow, they would climb out of the windows!!

So I got Superglue and glued the windows shut.... it didn't help. They bought Superglue solvent and more Superglue, dissolved my Superglue, went out for 'fun', came back and Superglued the windows shut again....

I left Phuket to work in Myanmar and both girls were mothers by the time they were 16 years old...... The older girl had her 2nd baby at 18 years old (from a different father). The younger girl sadly died in my arms from TB some 4 years ago.

Girls and Boys are gonna 'play', but the sexualisation of young girls and the lack of 'responsible' sex education for young teens does nothing to help the situation....

I made the same mistake,

Took on a 14yo (niece) from a village in Petchabun, I only lasted a year before she was put on a bus back.

No sneaking out at night, she would register at school, then duck out with a boy or three to hide in the Temple opposite school.

Final straw was when she stole one of our m/cs and spent the night somewhere else.

The school expressed surprise that I put up with her for so long.

It's poop when you give them every opportunity, pay for everything, and they make no effort.

have to say every one of those sound like porn fetish titles to me.

The takeaway is that many US high schools have daycare so the girls don't drop out of school. Trump may have canceled those by now. Obnoxious whining drivel, the only reason anybody watch was hoping to see what these teens actually did to get pregnant.

"many girls are out of control even with a solid family."

Travel& Transportation

I sympathise. I went through much the same. Glad your 21-year old is trying to talk some sense into her.

I just read that they teach 11 year olds in classes, presumably mixed classes with boys and girls, how to put on a condom, demonstrating with a banana.

In UK ? I think he was talking about the UK.

11 is below the age of consent and this practice needs to be challenged.

Many girls are menstruating by 10. I think graphic & honest sex ed should start at eight.

Another factor not mentioned in these reports is sex education in schools. It should be explicit, graphic and real. Kids can see all those body parts on the Internet, anyway. You’re not protecting them by not really giving them the facts of life. Not rolling a rubber onto a banana!

Sex education should begin around age eight because many girls will start to menstruate at age 10. They should be prepared when boys or men start to come on to them.

Birth control instruction should be a strong part of sex ed. Condoms should be available for free anonymously to both sexes, birth control pills and morning after if the student requests it.

This will no doubt cause community outrage. They’d rather see their daughters raped.

You may think this goes too far. If girls were educated, there would have been fewer victims in Rotherham, Telford and Rochdale.

If you're in England, rape victim testimony tells us they have a 'sex room' at school.
