The Strait of Hormuz was never really closed. Close to 200 known vessels had transited, with others not pubkicly declared. Not the Strai will be formerly open. The Chinese can breathe easier.

Hormuz stays blocked for now as hundreds of ships seek exit

(Bloomberg) — The Strait of Hormuz appeared to remain largely blocked on Wednesday, as shipowners try to understand if they can safely transit the vital waterway following a ceasefire between the US and Iran that was announced overnight.

A total of seven ships were seen exiting the region since Tuesday morning, while three vessels entered, tracking data compiled by Bloomberg show. Total peace time transits stood at about 135 a day last year. More than 800 freighters are stuck inside the gulf, mostly waiting to leave.

Were you expecting an instantaneous return of traffic? Ships need a few days to get underway and for crews to return. There is limited port capacity for that. Did you think the vessels were fully crewed and provisioned?

There are 800 ships in the gulf, and yes they are fully crewed and loaded, or do you think the crew went on a barhop?

Wait 24 hours and see what happens. You must be praying the ceasefire won't last.

During the time that the vessels were anchored, they used fuel , potable water and bunker fuel. The vessels must be provisioned. Crews must be refreshed. Many officers will have come to the end of their 90-120 day engagements. General crew are subject to maximum periods of deployment. A portion will have the right to leave their vessels. They must be replaced.

He's toast. Trump will never admit he's been fooled by Netanyahu, so he will blame Hegseth for this fiasco!

Here are the terms of america's surrender. Iran's 10 point plan.

  1. Strait of Hormuz to be reopened "under the co-ordination of the armed forces of Iran"

  2. Establishment of a "secure transit protocol" in the Strait of Hormuz

  3. The war against "all components" of Iran's so-called Axis of Resistance to end

  4. US forces to withdraw from "all bases and points of deployment within the region"

  5. Full payment of compensation to Iran

  6. Lifting of all primary sanctions

  7. Lifting of all secondary sanctions

  8. Termination of all UN Security Council resolutions

  9. Termination of all IAEA resolutions on Iran's nuclear programme

  10. Release of all frozen Iranian assets and properties abroad

My life is great. Thanks for asking. If I ever get to the point of being so nasty that I become anti America, anti war and pro war at the same time and too lazy to work I would not want to live. I don't know sad unhappy haters even get out of bed. You guys have nothing.

Which countries follow that law?

The Ceasefire has ceased already.

Vance is struggling to juggle semantics over written statements versus what is essentially Netanyahu's refusal to accept cessation of attacks on Lebanese civilians.

The Iranians seem to have decided that its a "so be it" situation and have continued assault on Israel .

Trump and Hegseth are starting to behave like rats backed into a corner baring teeth while desperately looking for an escape route!

Yesterday the haters said Trump gave in. Now he didn't give in. Are then any sensible people on here who have any idea about war?

That wasn't my point, which was that in other wars, the aggressor never boasted about what they had done to the other side.........that is the type of thing that the Chief Clowns of trump and hegseth do because it massages their fragile egos and they are also desperate for the support of the MAGA morons.

Initially it was said 4-6 wks and core military objectives were given. As it is it's under 6 wks and the core military objectives have pretty much been achieved. Stating this isn't boasting it's simply pointing out that the objectives have been achieved.

There's a reason Trump is in power and these haters have no jobs or any life outside hate.

It's a previous wish list from the regime which was rejected. Saying this is what was accepted is FAKE NEWS. Some on here who get their "news" from MSM think this is what Trump accepted and led to the ceasefire. It wasn't.

Please post what Trump accepted leading to the ceasefire.

He accepted no terms, just a ceasefire and agreed to talk. No deal is in concrete.

This hasn't been released as far as I am aware but Leavitt said it was a 15 point plan. What has been clearly and forcefully stated though is the list that some on here continue posting was NOT what was agreed to.
