That's why they donated massive sum to Trump and Congress to get pro-fossil fuel executive actions and for Trump to announce his signature policy for "Drill Baby Drill". Alternative energy projects were dismantled by Trump. Meanwhile the Democrats are pushing for a WindFall Tax as Big Oil profit from the high oil price but for the GOP control House to resist. Gasoline is much more expensive in some other nations where taxes are very high. Oil taxes just make poor people more poor. Gasoline should be cheap with 1% tax so poor people have lower fuel costs to go to work. Put higher taxes on luxury cars.

While I certainly agree that the wrong Administration is in power the Democrats have not done much better when it comes to the fight against Big Oil, nor big Pharma.

All the politicians at the national level are super corrupt, the only difference is that Trump has redefined the concept of political corruption on a much higher and more grotesque level.
