Reality suggests Putin began his attack on Donbass 7 years before his Biden meeting.
Putin also continued his attack while meeting with Trump in Helsinki in the summer of 2018.
Do you remember his meeting in private behind closed doors where Trump obviously was licking his boots likely dressed in his gimp gear?
