In any case, Sachs came to Columbia decade after I left. He's done some great work and has superb bona fides. If you're referring to his take on Israel's genocide, well, we all know he's right.

I have a very firm recollection of Giuliani being my prosecutor for one of my ~35 arrests but...???I can't remember Saran Wrap being a big thing in the 60s but I may not have been paying attention! In reference to the Dow Chemical Protest that you may or may not have joined (I think you didn't), the protesters at that May 1966 protest urged Americans to boycott Saran wrap, as it was a Dow product.https://www.nytimes.com/1966/05/29/archives/dow-chemical-office-picketed-for-its-manufacture-of-napalm.htmlThe demonstrators carried signs and handed out leaflets urging housewives to boycott Saran Wrap, a transparent plastic wrapping paper, another product of the Dow company..........We always have and always will do our best to produce what the Defense Department requires in any wartime situation," said Dean M. Wakefield, Eastern manager of the company's public relations. "Aside from our duty to do this, we might add that we would feel deeply gratified if what we're able to provide helps to protect our fighting men or to speed the day when fighting will end."As for the planned boycott of Saran Wrap, Mr. Wakefield said that "they [the pickets] have the absolute right to protest any action with which they disagree."https://www.nytimes.com/1966/05/29/archives/dow-chemical-office-picketed-for-its-manufacture-of-napalm.html#:~:text=On%20May%2029%2C%201966%2C%20a%20group%20of,Wrap%2C%20a%20product%20of%20the%20Dow%20company.A clamorous group of 75 persons picketed the offices of the Dow Chemical Company in Rockefeller Center yesterday in protest against the concern's manufacture of napalm used in the Vietnam war.“Napalm Burns Babies, Dow Makes Money,” the pickets chanted at startled shoppers on nearby Fifth Avenue. Occasionally, they changed their chant to “Nazi Ovens in '44, U. S. Napalm in '66.” The demonstrators carried signs and handed out leaflets urging housewives to boycott Saran Wrap, a transparent plastic wrapping paper, another product of the Dow company.https://www.satyagrahafoundation.org/nonviolent-program-to-stop-napalm-production/However, we need to have a more specific focus, a manufacturer of napalm. The U. S. Army lists about ten primary and secondary suppliers of “Napalm B”, the type used on peasants in Vietnam. But the New York Times (December 11, 1967) states that Dow Chemical is the only supplier of “Napalm-B”. While this doesn’t agree with our research it does coincide with indications that Dow is the major supplier of napalm. Because of this Dow has been the target of demonstrations on campuses and a so-far ineffective boycott of Saran Wrap, another Dow product. We believe our action should also be directed against Dow.

But as a student in NYC, it was one can of Franco-American spaghetti to the next--no leftovers. You're free to believe or disbelieve my recollections or you can just buy my book: Free Radicals: War Resisters in Prison and see the photos for yourself.Otherwise, you probably won't believe I was in jail with Dr Spock or that we levitated the Pentagon.
