Trump Says Iran Deal 'Largely Negotiated', Hormuz to Reopen

Featured Replies

I am fascinated to learn whether America will pay reparations to Iran, whether he has promised to rebuild Tehran, and who the construction companies belong to.

Will he recompense the families of the children he killed?

Will Israel still insist Iran is two weeks away from building a nuclear weapon?

So many questions left unanswered.

So we are back to the condition before the unnecessary war. What a waste of human lives, infrastructure destruction and global economic catastrophe for senseless decision to go to war for Israel.

We're not there yet. The Strait is STILL closed to free and open traffic. The blundering idiot sitting behind the resolute desk handed Iran a YUGE favor, a favor like no one's ever seen.

It would seem you don't know what accusation means. What you have quoted is a comment not an accusation. Accusation by it's very definition is applied to past actions not future actions. Assertion (v) would be correct not accusation (n).

You only got three things wrong.

First, calling people 'haters' who will derail a thread is a direct accusation of bad faith, not a simple comment or assertion.

Second, accusations absolutely apply to future actions. For example, saying someone was 'planning to bomb a building' is still an accusation even though it concerns intended future conduct.

Third, 'assertion' is a noun, not a verb.

And you only got one thing wrong - engaging with an idiotic troll. Of course, as they say in Thailand. "Up to you."

It appears the Israelis are less than impressed by what they understand this proposed deal contains.

Israeli official: Emerging US-Iran deal is ‘bad,’ shows Tehran it can weaponize Strait of Hormuz

The unnamed official says that US President Donald Trump believes that the deal will be economic in basis and allows the opening of the key waterway without any progress dependent on concessions on Iran’s nuclear program.

You also need to pick your battles, not be a Don Quixote. That one there is a lost cause. No one takes him seriously. Again, up to you.

And - to the keepers of the code - I still don't have any option to upload graphics. I'm starting to wonder if it's a Chrome thing.

If the talks fail what will be Trumps next move be ? likely a truth social media post bragging he did the talk iran didn't listen so there will be hell raining down in 24 hours in Tehran you know the usual drill.

Whatever the outcome, if the deal isn't significantly better than the deal Trump ripped up (in a hissy fit because it had Obama's name on it).........the whole 'excursion' into Iran will be viewed as a monumental disaster.

The upload graphics function works ok, as you suggest the problem might be your browser, suggest try with another browser maybe FireFox or Opera, both of which I use with no upload problems.

Strange my Chrome upload is working now. It failed twice before with an 'upload to cloud' error message.

Trump says “Iran deal largely negotiated memorandum of understanding was taking shape"

Iran says Donnies telling porkies again

A concept of a framework! 😀

Lets get one thing correct a MoU is NOT a Deal it is a foundational document used to outline shared goals and establish the framework for a future, legally binding contract, an MoU is not legally binding,

Trump is full of it !!

I favored ridding the world of the mullahs. I feared Trump would botch it. If this is true, he has and it's Iran that should be building a Victory Arch, not Trump.

The yanks must be totally humiliated YET again total loss !!

Rubio just said:

I do think perhaps there is the possibility that in the next few hours the world will get some good news.

We have made some progress over the last 48 hours working with our partners in the Gulf region on an outline that could ultimately – if it succeeds – leave us not just with a completely open strait …

No, we're nowhere near the conditions that existed before the war started. The SOH is now controlled and taxed by Iran. It used to be open and free for everyone.

The US has suffered it's most humiliating defeat since the Vietnam war, and Iran, even if weakened militarily, is much stronger geopolitically, with an even more extreme leadership, and still in control of their uranium that magically has reappeared after it was obliterated in June of last year.

And countries across the globe have lost hundreds of billions of euros due to ONE SINGLE IDIOT.

So basically, everything is worse.

This deal, if it actually happens won’t last and the allies know it. This is a Cover Our A**’s formality before they go in and mop the desert with the Mullahs and the IRGC. There is absolutely no other alternative, it’s going to happen.

That's my hope - the deal won't last. Trump has a big UFC fight he's putting on in the White House, so maybe after that is over he'll resume hostilities.

He should have just let Bessent destroy their economy and held off on the bombing until later.

It’s by design. Trump is playing his classic fractal kneejerk game just before the big womping backhanded slap.

The Yanks have humiliated themselves on the world stage !! they have achieved nothing !! The SOH is still controlled by iran

This is a Mou not a legally binding deal This is NOT a win for trump but a disgrace !
