Thailand Cracks Down on Fake Cannabis Prescriptions

Bullpucky. Every cannabis shop is paying for 1000s of pre-signed prescription forms (from an herbal witch doctor) and they just fill in your name when you buy. The whole point of prescriptions is to make sure the right people get paid. As long as manilla envelopes are flowing, nothing will change. This article is just like the Thai official saying there's no prostitution in Pattaya.

Yes. Exactly what I was saying but I’m not clever enough to use a descriptive like bullpucky. I learn new words every day 😁

As far as I can make out, what you are saying is very nearly a quote from the article. Except they don’t use the word bullpucky 😂

“Officials also discovered cases where healthcare practitioners had allegedly signed blank prescription forms, allowing retailers to add details later and use them as false evidence when submitting mandatory cannabis usage reports under Form P.T.28.”

I got mine prescribed for an itchy arse , Doc said smoke this dank kush and your brown eye will be the last thing on your mind.

Lidocaine also works well and costs less. You can buy tattoo numbing cream on Lazada.

Right. And I have one point: These shops are the norm, not the exception. They are filling out the forms in advance to "comply" with the law. There may be some performative prosecutions, but it's not enforceable to go after every store, customer, doctor, and witch doctor.

I’m sure you are right. I haven’t ever bought any myself, but the people I see frequenting these shops are mostly young fit looking people, often in groups of 3 or 4.

So I’m sure this is just like the doctors medical that I had at a local clinic when I applied to renew my drivers licence, the receptionist took a presigned certificate from under the counter and filled in my name.

The template for cannabis certificates was already there.

Can you answer my question, where are yearly prescriptions available?...in Thailand?. Is your weed prescription for your heart, blood pressure or diabetes???

just a ha ha ha moment .. so no need for anyone to get triggered ...

maybe the weed is really good and causes a serious munchies attack .. and the go to is cookies or donuts..

in that case the person can pop into just about any pharmacy and buy lispril or some diabetes meds without any prescription

( which doesn't fix the problem.). just a band aid and some big pharma making bucks off more misinformed people stuck on outdated info instead of fixing the cause

ok.. rant over
