Not possible to buy it at a post office.

I just sent off my package for pp renewal a few days ago. Figured I would get it done sooner than later. There is a box you tick for the 52 page book instead of the standard 28 pages at no extra cost.

I meant us embassy. They are pretty helpful. To be honest I can’t remember the options as I had a lot of things going on at that time. I just don’t like bank transfers and rather use a credit card or debit card. That’s just me.

Part of the package required that is mailed to the embassy is proof of purchase of the Thai Post mailer.

The embassy won't mail the new passport without that.

It's implied that they don't accept applications without that as there is a required checklist form that Includes the mailer purchase task.

You could try to do an in person application if they allow it.

That is actually required in some cases.

Refer to the embassy instructions.

That's what I remember about my renewal last year, the memory is coming back. I thought I had purchased the pre-paid mailer using my debit card and kept submitting what I thought was a receipt it with my application for the new passport. The American Embassy in Bangkok contacted me via email several times informing me that the mailer hadn't actually been paid. After a couple back and forths with them I finally figured it out. They can be very helpful.

Yes and no.

They didn’t help you pay for it

They just told you that your application was not complete but you had to fix it yourself.

I'm not going to argue. The embassy was very helpful to ME when renewing my passport. maybe not to YOU. As mentioned, I had a lot of serious personal and health stuff going on at the same time so I appreciated all their help, I was just trying to help the original poster. End of my posts on this topic.

FYI: i was able to purchase the 100 baht courier pass back envelope from ThailandPostMart online using my k-bank debit card.

Nope, you mail it with your application. Make copies.
