Nah, once they got the passport, they've mostly moved back to Russia due to Israeli discrimination. After the USSR, none of them knew a thing about Judaism, let alone observant.

So, the Palestinians were mainly killed by the British army and by themselves in intercommunal battles .

Never believe or trust anything Pro Palestinians say .

6000 Palestinians were mainly killed by the British and by the Palestinians themselves...............and Pro Palestinians deceptively try to blame Jews for the deaths by omitting to state who the killers were .

Never trust or believe them

I doubt you trust or believe anybody, Nick.

There is no war crime. On the contrary, the actions are intended to protect and preserve a site of historical significance. It blocks commercial development and protects the existing historical structures.

Righto. On land that was minimised after being given to the Palestinians now under daily deadly threat by armed colonists and their IDF henchmen. You're telling me Israel and the colonists don't have an agenda??? Ha!

The suggestion was that Jews killed 6000 Palestinians .

Historical documents show it was mainly the British Army and other rival factions of Palestinians who killed the majority of the 6000 Palestinians .

Who do you believe ?

An anti Sematic Neo Nazi German who is often liberal with the truth or do you believe historical documents ?

The ethnic cleansing occurred when the muslims invaded and increased once the previous evidence of Israeli presence was identified. As per the UNESCO filing;

The site is widely identified with Samaria, the Iron Age capital of the northern Kingdom of Israel and an important regional political centre from the ninth century BCE. During the Hellenistic period it became a fortified stronghold. Herod rebuilt the city during the Roman period and renamed it Sebaste in honour of Augustus. It later became a Roman colony and, during the Byzantine period, the seat of a bishopric. A Crusader built cathedral in the village, built on the remains of a Byzantine church dedicated to St. John the Baptist, was later turned into the Nabi Yahya mosque. During the Ottoman period, Sebastia was one of Palestine’s notable “Throne Villages”, rural political and administrative centres governed by prominent local families.

You do know who Herod is don't you? Herod I or Herod the Great was a Roman Jewish client king of the Herodian kingdom of Judea. He is known for his colossal building projects. Among these works are the rebuilding of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the expansion of its base—the Western Wall being part of it.

What ethnic cleansing has Israel engaged in? The historical site is being preserved,. There will be no commercial developments. The location was always a part of the kingdom of Israel. It was the Arabs who forced out the Jews, and then the Christians. The Palestinian Authority did not preserve or maintain any of the archeoligicalartifacts or structures. Do you know why? Because they were evidence of the previous Jewish Israeli inhabitants. This historical record was being erased by the Arab occupants since it did not support an Arab occupation of the area.

This historical is Roman not Jewish! Who cares about commerce? The Israelis will, of course, use it to compensate those Palestinians displaced (in your dreams). No Arabs displaced Jews in Sebastia nor did Romans. It was the Turks!

What? Ya don't like the Wailing Wall? What are they wailing about? Sympathy for the murdered Palestinians?

I think in Israel, it could be described as ethic cleansing.

Your hateful ignorance is pathetic. No, it was Jewish. The kingdom of Israel where the site is located, was predominately jewish. By the time of the Roman occupation, the former kingdom had become the jewish state created by the Romans and Herod was the Roman appoined King of the jewish state, Judea. There were multiple states like Judea. Thrace was one of them. So was Armenia. They term rex sociusque et amicus explains their intent.

Your vilehatred slipped out with your Wailing Wall comment. You should know that the The first Temple at this site was built by the Hebrews. The Babylonian invaders destroyed it. King Herod, the Roman appointed Jewish King, rebuilt it. The Muslim invaders destroyed it when they attacked jeruusalem during their expansionist colonialization. It is called Wailing because of the suffering the Judeans endured during the occupation by the muslims, and the desecration of the temple. The muslims sought to humiliate the Jews and establish dominance by erecting one of their mosques on this site.

What colonists? (sic). There is no claim of colonist (sic) involvement. Nor have their been any claims of confrontations. This has been a longstanding archeological site that Israelis did not develop. You are so intent on pushing your political agenda, that you are now posting your imagined scenarios. The land was part of the Judean kingdom. It is the Arabs who are the colonialists, the squatters if you will.

You clearly didn't get my point did you.

My suggestion was a reaction to your one sided list naming all the “massacres” committed by Arabs, which either never happened or could not be called a massacre:

just a few examples:

1.      The Jaffa massacre 1908:

A group of young Jewish men (recent immigrants from the Second Aliyah) provoked local Arab residents leading to a brawl and escalated into street fighting, and the Jewish men eventually retreated and barricaded themselves inside the Hotel Baruch and were later arrested by Ottoman police.

The incident shocked the small Jewish community at the time, as relationships between the old Jewish population and local Arabs in Jaffa had previously been relatively peaceful.

Casualties: No one was killed

2.      The Battle of Tel Hai (March 1, 1920)

Local Shiite Arab militias and Bedouins were actively revolting against the French forces and on that day a Shiite Arab militia leader, Kamal al-Hussein, arrived at the fortified gates of Tel Hai with several hundred armed men, demanding to search the settlement for French soldiers.

The Jewish defenders allowed the militia to look inside the main courtyard. However, one of them, Deborah Drachler, who was armed, became nervous, a shot was fired leading to both sides opening fire.

Casualties: 6 Jews and 5 Arabs

Despite being a tactical defeat, the defense of Tel Hai was quickly transformed into a powerful nationalist symbol. According to the attending doctor, the Jewish commander´s  famous last words before succumbing to his wounds were, "No matter, it is good to die for our country"

3.      The Nebi Musa Riots ( April 4 - 7, 1920)

a week-long religious holiday and pilgrimage celebrated by Palestinian Muslims, which that year overlapped with the Jewish festival of Passover and Christian Easter ended with riots.

Casualties: 5 Jews, 4 Arabs

4.    The Dania Massacre (1920-21):

Never happened. There is no town, village, or massacre named "Dania" in Palestine during this period.

Casualties: fictional

5.    There was a, a tiny Arab locality, Khirbat Daniya from which an assault was launched on a Jewish settlement. The Jewish settlers, assisted by a small British defense contingent, repelled the raid. No massacre occurred.

None of these incidents came even close to be called a massacre.

And you have the brass neck to call me “An anti Sematic Neo Nazi German who is often liberal with the truth”.

I previously wrote: “British records note that 685 Jewish residents were documented as killed by Arab actions between 1920 and 1947 while total Palestinian losses during the exact same timeframe surpassed 6,000 fatalities”.

Which is the truth.

You added “the 6000 deaths were largely driven by clashes with British forces and intercommunal conflict ."

Which neither debunks my comment nor tells us how many of those Arab fatalities were caused by Jews, as “largely driven” means something like “most of them” but not all.

You on the other hand side delivered a list with the title:

Arab/Palestinian LED massacres/progroms against Jews pre 1948

But when I looked only at the first 4 four of them which occurred in the last century, none of them was a massacre.

The first was caused by Jewish hoodlums who got their asses kicked, with no casualties, the second was a misunderstanding leading to similar casualties on both sides, same as the third which occurred because of overlapping religious holidays and the fourth was purely fictional, as there is no place called Dania.

So yes, the question stands, Who do you believe?

A member, who happens to be German and never posted a single Nazi comment, who is sick and tired of his government being kidnapped by Zionists, repeating hasbara and trying to make us believe that mass murder is self-defense and have now become the second largest weapons supplier of the racist, apartheid “murdering kids and proud of it” regime of Israel.

Or the guy who is actively defending this regime that slays women and children, justifying their war crimes and neither has the decency nor the manners to quote me when referring to my posts.

Yeah, I try, Yag. I read and research compulsively on items that interest me, most of which have to do with peace & justice--for everyone.

That may not have been Eichmann's intention.

Indeed, the site was a Roman construction which had nothing to do with Jews. And it is in the West Bank which is one of two divided sectors Israel calls Palestine. Israel just can leave them be.

I suppose Israel is getting its long-view revenge by keeping Muslims out of that very mosque even on their high holy days.

The site was Roman, not Jewish or, for that matter, Palestinian. But Israel had to claim it and, once again, push a Palestinian village out of its way. No imagination there.

You are amazing in your denial of reality, claiming the site was "Roman" and not Jewish. Romans come from Rome. This location was founded in the 9th century BCE and served as the capital of the Kingdom of Israel. It was then rebuilt during the Roman era and renamed Sebastia by Herod the Great, who was the designated King of Judea. The adjacent Arab village came after and has no historical significance. That village has been left alone. The Arabs have neither maintained, nor preserved the historical assets in large part because they are demonstrable evidence of the previous Israelite inhabitants. The Arabs have used the site as a garbage dump. The Israeli acheological authority is taking control of the historical ruins.

Hm, you are trying to get all twisty with hist’ry.

May well have been a Jewish site. That’s a location, not a construction. It was the Romans who built there, therefore, a Roman historical site.

That the Palestinian village was not there in ancient Jewish whatever, or in Roman times, so what? Don’t like Moshe Dayan?

"Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either... There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population.”

So show me there is any evidence of ancient Jewish settlement here. Maintaining historical relics is the job of Palestinians. Israel claims the territory. Is Israel paying Palestinians for this “maintenance”? And the village itself has to have some “historical significance”?!?

The reason is Israel wants to seize the site is to benefit their colonisation efforts and displacement of Arabs. Pure and simple.

If this is not the reason, why did Israel not do anything about it before? Yeah, as you say, Israel is all about “taking control”.

Garbage dump, eh? Post us a photo.

As a matter of fact, there is litter.

But why?

Israeli restrictions in Area C prevent local municipalities from performing standard civic cleaning, maintenance, and structured waste management and therefore are the cause for litter

The audacity. Cause a problem and then blame the other side for it.

While at the same time they refuse to accept a simple truth: you have no right to any archaeological sites outside your own borders even if they date back to your past.

It is really hilarious how some people keep inventing and spreading narratives, knowing they're just lies, in order to justify their crimes.
