Well it used to be 77 million but his support base is falling nearly every day, in the incredibly toxic 18 months that he's been in power this time around. He broke nearly all is promises, especially the sacred oath to avoid getting involved in useless, ridiculous and unnecessary forever wars, and also completely ignoring his promise to fight inflation.

Not so much demonize.... rather going on what I see on the regular. I spoke out against trump many years ago on here before the boiling over even started. Ive also stated on here many times and been ridiculed for it that the entire system is corrupt from top to bottom. Yet day in day out i am personally attacked and told what I believe or who i am. Ex being called maga even after trying to explain..... Most times by people who have never taken a moment to even ask me what I believe.

Thanks. I have allowed myself to descend into the neighborhood of personal criticism, occasionally, and I really do make an effort to try not to. There are a couple of posters in general that are so obnoxious that it takes a significant amount of control to remain civilized.

I think it's fair game to criticize the political leaders and to maintain a certain amount of respect for each other regardless of belief, so you are absolutely correct.

Most Americans I know in Thailand avoid face to face political discussion. I’ve posted in the past in the deathly silence amongst Americans at a party in the immediate aftermath of the J6 attack on the Capitol.

There are of course exceptions, I did see what I assumed was an American standing on Pattaya Narklua road, wearing a ‘Team Trump’ T-shirt.

Unfortunately I was almost past him before I registered what he was wearing.
