If you can answer that, you're half way to working out why you are so unhappy.
September 2Sep 2 This probably another troll post. Anyway, a couple of things. If you're coming to pattaya for a place to chill - you shouldn't arrive in the middle of the rainy season (some would say it's not a place to chill at all - and I'd agree with that).High season is best weather but also the busiest. The place is geared 365 days a year for cheap booze, cheap sex and partying.Central Bangkok is probably the place for you - Chiang Mai which you seem to like I recall. Hua Hin is okay - again don't think I could last 4 weeks there either.

If it wasn't more troll posting you could think seriously about why some people are malcontents.
September 2Sep 2 Popular Post So, what is so exciting back in Australia? If your 'story' is true, you might be entering the existential boredom phase of old age, it ocurrs just prior to topping yourself. No amount of new hobbies, friendship groups, travel, alcohol can combat it......you're doomed laddie, doomed.

Your mind can turn a wonderful situation into a miserable experience, or find peace inside a terrible one."Others have said a person is just about as happy as they make up there mind to be.Of course you would have to give up all the drama, so there's that.

Self medication is a temporary fix but the rebound comes.I had a friend who was fond of saying "There is no problem so big that can't be fixed by alcohol - temporarily."

As I mentioned earlier, I question the authenticity/sincerity of said posts, but they often generate interesting discussions. And is it really that much different than the BS'ing we're all guilty of, sitting at the pub, from time to time?

Three days in and I was on a plane back to LOS. I would have left sooner but flying 24 hours after diving is a no no. There was absolutely NOTHING interesting. Restaurants were dismal, the dive site was dead sand, even the local beer was yuck.

There's lots to do in Pattaya but most of it is much more fun with a companion along for the ride. For example, my spouse and I have been snorkeling a number of times and it was very enjoyable but I wouldn't want to do it by myself. Ditto for Nong Nooch Gardens, the aquarium, Sanctuary of Truth, Art in Paradise, etc.

September 3Sep 3 With all those hunky American sailors in town, the Op will never be able to come back straight out of Pattaya. 🫢
September 3Sep 3 Popular Post Georgegeorgia, what you are experiencing is a spiritual conflict in your soul. 2 Peter 2:7 says that God rescued righteous Lot who lived right and was greatly troubled by the terrible way those wicked people were living in Sodom. He was a good man, and day after day he suffered because of the evil things he saw and heard. So the Lord rescued him. In Patts you are living in the midst of pure sin and debauchery. The Bible says that if one even looks upon sin, his conscience will become defiled. Run as fast as you can and get back to Australia and stay away from that cesspool called Pattaya.
