Great deals, very keen prices! As our twin tub is 8 years old, spinner occasionally screeches and the brake no longer works when you open the lid my Mrs decided it's time for a new machine. We set out to buy another plastic twin tub but stepdaughter talked her into buying a top loading automatic. I've owned one previously and it was OK. Now purchased from Makro a Samsung top loading automatic. Model; WA21CG6886BVST with Ecobubbleᵀᴹ, Hygiene Steam 21kg Black, price including delivery; 13,990 baht.

We've had a Samsung at our old house for about five years, and it's been great. The only thing I don't like about it is that the hot water only goes up to 60C.

I was a top-loader guy before I moved to Thailand and got a front-loader.

The ground rod is likely for the solar installation, which would likely have nothing to do with the lack of ground in the existing wiring. Drive a ground-rod for your laundry room receptacle and buy

If your wife is anything like mine it will be nearly impossible to prise her away from her spin dryer.Mine loves nothing more than pressing herself against hers when it’s on full spin.

Unplug the machine and don’t use it. Your earthing isn’t correctly bonded.

Our house system was installed grounding pole.

Sorriful, not all connector are properly grounded.

I bought a cable extender, it seems has ground poles.

When opened, revealed just two cable was installed, ground cable no.

Thanks. That is bad. A trailing socket extension cable with three pin sockets should be fitted with a three pin plug and the earth pins should be wired.

A lot of extension cords available in Thailand come with 3-pin plugs and 3-pin receptacles, but the cord is only 2-conductor with no ground wire.

And I mean a lot of extension cords.

Indeed, except that too many people would not be able to plug it in, and it would cost twice as much. I think they have warning stickers on them. They are not really that different from a three prong to two prong converters.

Decent, three conductor drop-cords are available, but they are not cheap.

Thanks! I'm looking at a three pin socket strip fitted with a two pin plug right now. To my simple mind that's wrong but at least it's obvious that the earth sockets can't be wired and therefore honest.

Absolutely! Need to get my house rewired with three pin sockets. Relatives and visitors with three pin appliances always need to ask me for an adaptor!
